Sometimes you just need to keep the faith Nathan , I couldn’t back him after last time but there’s not doubting he’s a very talented horse

I’d still have him as a Gold Cup horse but Willie thinks Fact to File is the one for that
I did get 25’s Gaelic for next years Champion Chase but quality of opposition and going should be much different
This horse is 6 years old so can still improve

Got on the winner at 5/2, decided to ignore his last run; not sure it’s a huge compliment to Fact To File, as it was obviously an off day. V impressive how he quickened from the last

    “Nathan in Nirvana, Utopia, Dreamland.”

Got some money back on him

    After backing him for

    Boodles
    Bartlett
    Ballymore
    Supreme
    Stayers
    BANC
    Turner’s
    Melbourne cup
    King stand
    The masters

    Being serious

Looked like he’s just started and as I suspected he might proved different class

    Distance bet landed :good:

Many made mention of GW behaviour in the paddack before his last race and you clearly couldn’t take his run that day at face value – he was a little on his toes today but I do think the hood worked well and I also think returning to hold up tactics (that was always used when he was hurdling) suited the horse much better.

I think the trip suited him given it was always likely to be very well run and he’s got a great engine. I heard Rory Delargy talking the other day about how he only jumps right when he’s under pressure/asked and we saw that today, straight as a gun until the last, able to get round on the bridle up to that point. You can probably run him over any trip provided he’s either making his own running or its well run but he’ll always jump right under pressure and that would be a concern in better company, didn’t look a great arkle behind him.

    Love it FF91

Gaelic was so calm to post today whereas he bolted it down the last race

Looked like he did boil over to me, looked like Slade steel did too

Veins pumping out of him when he went to the practice fence

Would’ve cashed out if I could

    Didn’t matter though

Was basically a 3 runner race in the end and all he had to do was beat matata and found a fifty

Which unsurprisingly he did on the snaff

No, I thought he was calm today, he’s always very buzzy before races. Leopardstown he was far, far worse
ITV were being over the top in the comments in the parade ring imo
Well done on the 10’s Ham, great price
I managed 4’s the other day with BetMGM and lumped on this morning at 9/4 aswell as a bit on any race a while ago I think was 11/4 but lost plenty on Stayers, Turners and a little on Browns… :rose:

Worth noting he’s only 6 so still has time to decided to relax before a race you’d hope…

Cheers nathan, was absolutely certain (i said on this thread) that he’d come here hence the price when turners looked the target, not sure i could have taken that price today as i was worried about FAF, no danger though.

Jumping was excellent, be really interested to see what they do with him, king george would be made for him IMO

No more experiments with PW Mullins aboard and no more races on heavy December ground. KG makes a lot of sense and Willie knows that. He’d love to win with him at Kempton and the Savill’s with GDC again.

I have a few bets on at 14s for the King George so will be gutted if he doesn’t turn up for it. It’s tailor made for him imo.

Willie’s talk of Queen Mothers doesn’t fill me with confidence though.
