3.10Ling Carcinetto has a great chance on his 2nd to Bonus over 7F at Kempton and should be in the first two, however I am going to chance Secret Night to turn around that form back at Lingfield on 6lb better terms. Showed he still has a race in him when running in a nice race over 6F at Lingfield in November and in what could be a slow paced race might be able to break his losing run
4.10Ling I’m sticking with Maslak to continue his good recent run of form.
4.40Ling The money has come for Tinnarinka but after a 506 day lay off I think it still takes a leap of faith for us not in the know to back. I’m giving one last chance to Meditation to win over this trip. A pound lower than its last win and racing against some horses who prefer to place at 12/1 looks OK to me. Mon Petite Amour who has been running consistently of late for the forecast.
5.10Ling Although its last two wins over C&D have been in Selling & Claiming company I’m going with Whats For Tea. Might be able to dictate the pace of the race and hold off the others with Gallic Charm the most likely danger.
February 28, 2008 at 14:54 #147139Thanks Max, however neglected to note (how unprofessional) that it was a 7 runner race; therefore a place position was a very poor possibility for Raza Cab. The commentators on Racing UK also noted the run and “big up’dâ€
February 28, 2008 at 15:12 #147142Nice one Aaron. Never in much danger there.

In the 8.50 I’m going for a Best 1-2. Hucking Hill has been running reasonably consistently and though hasn’t won for a while is now 2lb lower than its last win. Monashee Prince if it gets the gaps could run in to the forecast spot.
I’m with you on Waterline Twenty in the last although I do fear Under Fire who is 3 for 3 over C&D.
Best of luck
February 28, 2008 at 16:03 #147158Cheers Max
Just another eight to go !
February 28, 2008 at 16:26 #147168aaronizneez typically I punt just before off based on my tissue. Agree that Hucking Hill is a contender based on my prices. We’ll see later tonight. Good luck yourself..
February 29, 2008 at 13:14 #147361The favourite in the 2.20 at Wolverhampton today definitely looks worth opposing on the basis of its speed figures. I’m biased obviously but I think I would look to oppose with MACHINATE.

7/4 Hollow Jo, 6/1 Kempsey, After The Show, Rocker
The legitimate favourite Hollow Jo (in my book) @ 2/1 or better.
Rocker could bounce back to form and win via the fast pace set by Hollow Jo, After The Show and Kempsey. Or wilt as this distance favours front runners. The reverse forecast (betfair) with Hollow Jo has suckered me in.
March 1, 2008 at 11:39 #1475929:20 Wolverhampton — The 9yo Buscador is favorite and has run consistently this winter but I think he is worth taking on in this race with Still Dreaming at 6/1 who was bought by Richard Price after easily winning a selling hcap and this trainer can often improve horses in these circumstances. Still Dreaming has finished runner up in his two races since and holds Qaasi on his last run. Karmest has won three times on the fibresand this year and may be better on that surface and is a stone higher now than her last run on polytrack. The main danger could be Terminate who should like the step up in trip after running 3rd in a moderate race 15 days ago at this track and he is worth a bet also.
I know this is an AW thread but I don’t want to start a separate one so over at Newbury in the 3:50, I really like the chances of Or Bleu at 7/2. The slow pace did not suit him last time out but he still finished 3rd behind two useful horses and the form of his previous races gives him every chance in this race where there are doubts regarding the fitness of 4 of his opponents running here after a long time away from the racecourse and there are going doubts about some of the others. The danger may be Amour Multiple who is worth a saver imo.
March 1, 2008 at 17:21 #147670I wouldn’t want to oppose Buscador tonight. There is no other obvious front runner and generally if he gets an uncontested lead he wins. The speed figures also suggest the others have a bit to find.
Of Mark’s other runners tonight, the only one to be interested in is THE LONDON GANG. It’s a standing joke that no matter what their preferred trip before they join the yard, all Mark’s runners end up needing between a mile and a quarter and a mile and a half and this fellow looks like he could be straight out of that mould.
March 1, 2008 at 19:17 #147693In The London Gangs race I’m persevering with Candy Anchor. Travelled well over C&D in January behind Morbick before the amateur jockey got in to trouble and then ran well over 12F. Chris Catlin aboard tonight and a good EW shout IMO. For a bumper forecast I’m putting in Vintage Quest who finished 2nd of 11 in a similar race over 8.5F in January
March 1, 2008 at 20:18 #147713The London Gang. Gelded since last run

Mark gelds all of his (colts, obviously
). Always a positive IMHO. I’ve partaken of a small each way bet (34 win 8 place) on BetfairMarch 1, 2008 at 21:33 #147745Good call, SC – nice win
March 1, 2008 at 21:47 #147751Well done with Terminate, i was on Buscador unfortunately.
March 1, 2008 at 22:32 #147765Cheers guys and it’s always nice to get a winner. Good luck to Tuffers with his syndicate horses.

Thanks, Pete. Excited but nervous this year as both are unraced. Keep an eye on Mark’s horse, Secret Asset, this year
