in stall 9 is the draw data horse based on three years data. Down to a multiple winning mark and a big price.
jazz dreamers
win
Is very well in here and a win at bellewstown franked by 63 rated rampage who won next time out off 66. Jazz dreamers was rated up to 64 after first win before running rating down to win on turf comes here at top of game. Gets bundle of free energy from several “ runners” at the weights and the draw.

TRUSTY SCOUT
Win
An Alexander towards both horses here and in a poor race savoy brown who doesn’t win often is close to the mark here.September 25, 2023 at 18:25 #1664483I’m doing it each way as I don’t want to spite my nose to bite my face. It isn’t a sixteen runner so I’m not affected by the gutless place terms the books are offering on big field races.

NEXT SECOND

won last time and only two previous wins were back to back last August under Josephine Gordon. Turned out again in a near identical timespan a three pound raise may not be enough to stop this horse. The absence of the horse due to race in the adjoining stall and weighted directly below the selection adds to the physics of the race. Very well treated despite the weight rise as has won off higher mark

Was fourth to this horse in debut for Roger Varian. Soon rated 90 while the selection went in the other direction.

power under me is of course the class horse but I’d be surprised if he hasn’t got bigger fish in the oven. Could be keeneland bound or better still longchamp.
Snapraeterea
each way
has not won in two long years and gets weight here and is rated half a stone down too and is the draw data horse and I’ve gone back a way to get a fair average. Has to convince soft isn’t an issue but holds hopes of getting into the mix here. Joseph O’Brien is not having a bad old day of things here.

paul m and Jim goldie team up with a horse who debued with a nck defeat to a subsequently 83 rated horse in a class two for previous yard and who is much better than so far shown. Last win was under this jockey and dangerous to dismiss lightly

September 27, 2023 at 10:00 #1664580Sam happened to get a chance to see some racing late afternoon.
Saw you had put up Snapraeterea in the 4.15 at Cork. Stuck a few
quid on e/w. If I had been at the track I’d have ripped up my
ticket after a furlong. Came from way back last to gallop past
everything except the winner who had already flown. He would
have won without doubt if he hadn’t fecked up the start, in fact
he’d have caught the winner in another 5 or 6 strides. That was
hard luck mate, but a nice e/w at 10/1 (I got the 11s). That
was all I had time for so a nice few quid in the pocket.
Thanks Sam
September 28, 2023 at 14:01 #1664664My pleasure as you will have seen it came from nowhere and won it’s race. Can’t help for the winner who was winning another race there. That is the beauty of free energy.

opal storm

blazing hot
both win
Could be fighting this out at the end if others try to steal this from the front.
Blazing hot debuts for local trainer m. Hertherington and went close in this race last year and runs from a stall close by. Won off 74 just two years ago.
could well be laid out for this by connections after last year and likely to mount a bold bid.
Drawn alongside likely favourite Opal storm. Christian Howarth takes three pounds off and is a one trick jockey here.
Here is last year’s stewards report
“approaching the final furlong, Sharrabang (GB), unplaced, lugged left-handed at the same time as Blazing Hot (GB), placed third, edged slightly right-handed causing Dazzling Dan (IRE), unplaced, to be hampered when tightened for racing room but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that there was no riding offence involved and it had not improved the placing of Blazing Hot (GB).Approximately 1 furlong out, Blazing Hot (GB), placed third, lugged right-handed momentarily crowding Dazzling Dan (IRE), unplaced, which had to be eased by its rider but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that there was no riding offence involved and it had not improved the placing of Blazing Hot (GB).

September 28, 2023 at 17:47 #1664680That was agonising with Blazing Hot Sam, I thought he was certain to
take the race but just got caught right on the post. Nearly a 12/1
winner, but would have been a decent E/W shout. That was a tough
