Favourite screwed from the moment the tapes went up. He can’t have been in the right race.
That was another poor ride from Towsend , that was a horse that was always going to need cover , great for Snowdon , he’s had a cracking season and a great ride

Townend couldn’t do too much to settle him. Maybe he was in the wrong race, but he might get the 3m trip after all.
Apparently the winner was due to run in the Turners but got balloted out. Funny how it works out sometimes
Race is a graveyard for favourites.
Townend just seemed to down tools.The more I know the less I understand.
Townend tried to sit 3rd or 4th but the horse was doing too much and ended up running with the choke out unfortunately.
He ran with the choke out as much at Leopardstown on bottomless ground over 2m6f and still powered away.
That was totally unacceptable.Once he got headed Townend appeared to do nothing.

Exactly Refuse. Couldn’t wait to pull him up. Never tried a yard on Impaire Et Passe either.
Neither horse even got pushed for one stride.
I couldn’t understand why Doctor Steinberg was available at 9/2 for quite a while this week. Now I know.
Pulling FTF out of the Ryanair was a complete hoax also.
