Constitution Hill v Lossiemouth v Brighterdaysahead.
Will it happen? Were it not for her disappointing run at Cheltenham, I would fancy the Gigginstown mare to outstay the favourite here, but she was out on her feet that day, and it was only three weeks ago. Lossiemouth may also be a stronger stayer than the British number one, but 5-2 is a bit short in my opinion.
I’ve had a few quid e/w on Jimmy Du Seuil, who is still improving, judging on his impressive Cheltenham victory, and should find conditions ideal.
Jimmy Du Seuil 25-1 e/w.
March 28, 2025 at 16:51 #1724995Like that bet G, very tempted here, but just the presence of Wodhooh that has me stalling
March 28, 2025 at 16:59 #1724996I like Wodhooh as well, VTC, but she’s only 14s.
March 28, 2025 at 18:07 #1724998With the way Brighterdaysahead ran at Cheltenham, I’d be surprised to see her here and don’t give her much chance if she does indeed run.
I think the Leopardstown run was a flash in the pan anyway and that Lossiemouth is the far superior mare. It’s definitely going to be an exciting clash if she turns up to face CH.
March 28, 2025 at 22:20 #1725018I’m taking a chance with Take No Chances at 50-1 ew
March 29, 2025 at 07:35 #1725045What a cracking race in prospect.
I’ve taken 5-2 Lossiemouth, think she could go here and Punchestown.
I’ve also had a peanut ew on Kitzbuhel at 16s. I wonder if this is a stepping stone to the French champion hurdle.March 31, 2025 at 16:40 #1725232Brighterdaysahead will not be taking part in this, Gordon Elliot has announced.
She’ll hopefully be at Punchestown, the trainer said.April 2, 2025 at 11:52 #1725385Backed Wodhooh last twice so sticking with him. Until he gets beat we don’t know how he really is, although a tough ask tomorrow.
April 2, 2025 at 13:24 #1725390She.
April 2, 2025 at 14:48 #1725391They are all she’s aren’t they bar Constiution Hill. He’s in a mares race basically.
Edit: just realised Tellherthename sounds like a she but is in fact a he.
I have a feeling this battle that ITV will be creaming themselves over won’t actually come to fruition, one of them won’t get round and the other will be left to beat very little. Hope I’m wrong.
April 2, 2025 at 17:16 #1725403It’s really interesting that Elliott feels that the mare is worth a go , I’ve tickled her but I expect Lossiemouth to get closer to CH this time and she’s the main bet inc win distance , I’ll be honest I want him beat now so the **** show that happens every time he runs ends ..
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026

Oops, sorry SHEApril 2, 2025 at 19:06 #1725423“I’ll be honest I want him beat now so the **** show that happens every time he runs ends ..”
Same here, HDLG. Buckley was full of the talk after the Supreme but has allowed the horse to be wrapped up in cotton wool since.
And I don’t particularly want Nicky “Sponsored by Unibet” Henderson to win anything this week after his latest stunt with Lulamba.
At least by being there tomorrow I will be spared seeing ITV and RTV’s Henderson love in, assuming he wins.
April 2, 2025 at 21:27 #1725436Agree cas, id be delighted to see him hammered, that lulamba fiasco is a joke, i never suggest corruption, but he literally confirmed him on luck on sunday for the juvenile, then comes out 3 days later basically saying it was always the plan to go 2m4 against the older horses?
It should absolutely not be allowed for gambling firms to sponsor yards, this has such a corrupt air about it, do not like it one bit
Atleast with mullins, its hush hush from the start and then you laugh afterwards (bar vautour but that wasnt really mullins)
April 3, 2025 at 08:28 #1725473Agree Ham. Even if nothing is going on, racing ought to be seen to be above corruption. The optics of trainers and jockeys being sponsored by bookmakers is terrible.
Constitution Hill now Evens with Betfair and Hills. Most other firms are 10/11 but Unibet are priced defensively at 5/6. I wonder if they know anything?
April 3, 2025 at 09:27 #1725477That its cas, i dont actually believe anything is going on, but from whats transpired in the last 5 days, it would be hard to argue theres not something going on,
I wouldnt have touched lulamba with free money in either race so its nothing to do with any AP bets
But at no point did he mention the slightest possibility of running anywhere else, then literally nico is sitting there with a unibet tshirt on saying its just aswell they dont listen to the betting fraternity?
Its really a bizzare look
Completely disappointing from henderson and nico and if you backed lulamba ap you should feel extremely hard done by
April 3, 2025 at 10:19 #1725481Now 2.16 on Betfair and 11/10 with Hills.
That must be the first time he has been offered at odds against since his victory in the Supreme in 2022 (excluding any antepost markets).
