hey iv just found this forum , im 16 female 5ft3 weight 6st 5
and i have the most intense passion to be a jockey ,
i havnt been on a horse since i was about 5 though , lol due to been moved around the country on my parents travels , have been in the uk for 3yrs now and i would appericate any help and advise

.. you have to be quite fit to be a jockey, it’s not just a matter of getting onto a horse.
I don’t know if any of them post on here, good luck with it anyway.

Hi, I was a jockey for about 17 years. Retired through injury in 07. PM me with your details or mail me at nzracehorses@hotmail.com and Ill give you all the advice, addresses, numbers and details you need. I could proberbly even give you a headstart and help you find a job in a yard before you go to the apprentice school. Only problem you have is the lack of riding since you were 5.
