Can you lads give it a rest.
TAPK – there is no evidence whatsoever that GT is any kind of fake, not a shred, so can you stop the witch-hunt or wind-up, whichever it is.

Without going back through every post on this thread as I really dont lose any sleep over it but I would hazard a guess that perhaps there’s a 99.9% chance that my Broomsticks been in my cupboard minding its own business for at least a month or so. I would suggest that anyone who washes their dirty linen in Public should be aware that Daz, Persil and Ariel all end up with the same result!……S*it stains! Again for the last time I shall refrain from mentioning the unmentionable……….Again!

‘He’s a Moody Bug*er’ and thats what Ellerie calls him,he sulks before, during and after a race,he’s unpredictable but very talented,he’s chucked the towel in when you think he’s a good thing and he’s battled like a lion when you think he cant,he’s the ‘Audley Harrison’ of jumping and should never have ran in the Grand National but he miraculously gets over any obstacle put in front of him. When he puts his best foot forward he takes some passing as both his Royal Ascot and Cheltenham Festival victories prove.
Junior
will always decide himself as to what race he will run and will continue to prove us his loyal followers wrong just like he did at Doncaster the other week on ground he ‘should’ have hated,he’ll get that sort of ground at Kempton next week around a course that will suit and thats why he’s been supplemented as there’s a lot of question marks hanging over most of the field, including my personal banker
Grand Crus
.
December 21, 2012 at 10:27 #423694Good photo of him TAPK, hopefully he’ll be looking as good on Boxing Day!
December 21, 2012 at 10:57 #423699Great photo TAPK
I have jumped aboard also, cheersDecember 21, 2012 at 14:13 #423714The Knights are running for place money remember so we are well aware that 4th place covers expenses, bit like ‘The Moose’ last week, not that I would personally compare
Junior
with him! Its about shrewd placing sometimes and a good bit of foresight. Its not beyond the realms of reality that this years King George could end up with a single figure field and should that be the case ‘Junior’ and the Gang will have a helluva day out,if he runs right up to his best he will be in the first 3, so the 40/1 has to be taken, come the day he goes off half those odds, his reputation is bigger than mine and I can move markets single handedly……….Single handedly??
Well I cant get another penny on with Bet365 on him!
December 21, 2012 at 18:09 #423738Gord do you think DARLAN will win at Kempton on boxing day
And you forget to reply to me about my last post a few pages back.

With the ground the way it is at Kempton I can see Darlan needing to get his hooves warm for the season before we see a true run. I like the Countrywide Flame-Darlan forecast myself, with the latter being well able to reverse the form later on in the season.
December 21, 2012 at 18:18 #423742I know you asked Gord Darren but I felt like jumping in myself

Josh my pet dog! Its been a S*it year and I’ll be glad when its over!December 21, 2012 at 20:11 #423758[attachment=0:2gknh29a]140lmpi (1).jpg[/attachment:2gknh29a]
I was working at a Farm near Melton Mowbray almost 14yrs ago,I looked over a stable door and saw a litter of Terrier/Jack Russell Pups barely 2 weeks old curled up to their Mother. The owner of the farm said I could have one for £150 telling me they were related to a Crufts winner……..Me being a naieve sort thought he was a bargain, not realising at the time Mongrels fetch nowt really!!
Before he was 6 months old he was running the 8 mile round trip around Carsington with me and would have done it again if I wasn’t knackered! We’ve been all over the country together and his fav place was the west Coast of Scotland,he’d chase Rabbits down burrows and I’d have to dig him out at times.Smoked Salmon was his fav food and he’d love to swim,he has been a massive part of my Non Racing life and we’d go out on a 4 mile walk every Sunday,I never took him this week as he had been struggling up the hilly bits,I decided to take him to the vets on Tuesday as I knew him like I know myself and that was that, the vet said do you want to leave him with us but I had to stay and held him in my arms as the overdose of Anaesthetic hit the mark.My fav saying to him was ‘Who’s the most beautiful boy in the world then’ and I said it to him as he passed away.Being a soft sort the vet asked me to leave through the back door so I didn’t upset all those in the waiting room who were all keen to ask what was up with my dog but I couldn’t face telling them he was just an Old Man struggling!
Funniest thing he ever did was when he was just a Pup,he would run off at every opportunity, one day he ran straight across our Cul de Sac where we lived at the time and straight up the house opposites stairs,he came back running with a pair of Black lace Panties in his mouth,I had the pleasure of returning them to the rightful owner……….We’re still together now! RIP Josh, you will never be forgotten!xDecember 21, 2012 at 21:28 #423776Sorry to hear about little Josh.
Am sure 2013 will be a better year for you Gord.Value Is EverythingDecember 21, 2012 at 22:07 #423789Tear to the eye Gord. Sorry mate. As Ginge says, lets hope 2013 is a better year for you.
"this perfect mix of poetry and destruction, this glory of rhythm, power and majesty: the undisputed champion of the world!!!"
December 21, 2012 at 22:51 #423793It’s been a horrible year Gord, I can’t wait for 2013. I’m very sorry to hear about your loss. I got engaged on January 11th of this year to the woman I loved and had been with for 2 years. My best friend in the world that had held that mantle for most of my life was chosen to be my best man. I soon discovered that the two had been having it off behind my back and thus lost the two of them from my life. It was a major blow and was the reason why I wasn’t seen on here for several months. I was in a bad way. Anyway, enough of the deep dark stuff and let’s roll on the festivities. 2013, the sooner the better I say……
How about Pipey’s grey for Boxing Day to make everything A-OK?
