Why not just give Darren credit for identifying Sir Des Champs as a Gold Cup Prospect a long time before you did Gord; instead of claiming you’d backed the horse in January 2012 for the race?
Give the personal stuff a miss Gord, keep to racing – and we’ll be ok.
"Give the personal stuff a miss"?? Me calling you a Ginger haired Hippy who cant get laid is No where near as offensive as you suggesting Your King, the legendary King of foresight,Ruler of the Ante-Post Kingdom doesn’t recognise the talent of darren,I compliment him regularly and he himself knows there is No way he spotted ‘SDS’ a long time before me you…………………………………….Liar,Cheat and Charlatan!! You made me say it!
February 12, 2013 at 22:33 #429450I spotted him coming off the boat from France.
February 12, 2013 at 22:35 #429452Let’s not start all this again please, we are so close to the biggest festival and spectacle on earth we don’t need bad feeling

It’s not about who "spotted SDS" first, it’s not really about who spotted him as a Gold Cup horse first (although that is obviously Darren and THM). Much more importantly, it’s about you claiming to have backed SDS at 25/1 in January 2012 for the Gold Cup… When at that time you were adamant SDS was a "Ryanair" horse.
I am not getting in to name calling, you’ve succeeded before at moving arguements to a personal level. I’ve clearly hit a nerve, but if you want to use those words, I suggest your Majesty turns them on yourself. Where did you mention this 25/1 SDS Gold Cup bet?
First time I can see was when already down to 8/1.Value Is EverythingFebruary 12, 2013 at 23:56 #429464Let’s not start all this again please, we are so close to the biggest festival and spectacle on earth we don’t need bad feeling
Do you think TAPK should be allowed to get away with claiming anything he likes without anyone questioning him GDC?
It seems impossible for the self-proclaimed "king of foresight" to admit to backing a horse at an inferior price to someone else.

I’m rather busy studying this years ‘Beverly Bullet’ today to be bothered about the Ginger ones Green attitude! I really dont give 2 monkeys if he believes a word I say or not but being someone who specialises in Foresight and Ante-Post betting its a bit rich the Green haired monster who knows nothing about how I operate trying to distract me from my focus.I’d politely suggest you stick to what you ‘specialise’ in……Black and white numbers and Percentages and leave the ‘Colourful’ stuff to me! Was that polite enough GDC?

First time I can see was when already down to 8/1.Fair enough Gord, if you can’t answer my question will just have to draw my own conclusions.
You’ve got some great value for Cheltenham my freind, there is no need to aftertime.
Value Is EverythingFebruary 13, 2013 at 16:04 #429516Hey I’m cool with you 2 arguing but don’t see the point as you both enjoy the racing so much, all id say Ginge is rather than antagonise. Stay off his thread?
Gord: what did you think of PR run in Betfair? Hope they go for the right race

Am not after "antagonis"ing anyone GDC!
I enjoy this thread, contribute to it myself, but certainly not going to give TAPK a free run to claim whatever price he wishes.Just don’t like it when someone/anyone claims credit for taking a price there is no evidence of them taking. ie Aftertiming. I would’ve said the same thing whether it was TAPK, THM, Darren or your good self GDC.
But am not going to go on about it. As far as I am concerned the matter is now closed (unless provoked of course).
Value Is EverythingFebruary 13, 2013 at 20:50 #429534Did not expect all this i did not. only asking what price SDC to win gold cup in 2013 before he jumped a fence. And what price you could of got too.

Get used to it!
GDC,Hunt Ball
is your Byrne Plate Horse before you tell me and I concur 100%…………I know what you’re thinking but I’m not really gifted like Ginge obviously thinks!
And for the record both Darren and Tommy THM were bang on aboutSir des Champs
for last years Jewson,I got 12/1 about a 3/1 shot Ginge and I know those pair did a damn sight better than SP too,you should be more grateful!
February 13, 2013 at 23:07 #429547Trouble is Gord, all those big priced winners have not done the old bank balance any good recently because of all the losers.
Your wife must have utmost faith in you Gord. Not many women would allow a family man to bet in ever increasing amounts when down £17,000 in the last 8 months.
Hopefully with MTOY your luck has changed.
Value Is EverythingFebruary 13, 2013 at 23:26 #429553Gord: deffo the one to beat in my opinion mate, have taken 12s, 10s and 8s as I like the horse a lot and we know he can carry weight around Chelts
What about PR? Worried he will take in a hurdle race?

I’m glad to see you use the word Luck Ginge as its not something
you prescribe to when doing your own system and Luck is so very crucial at this game,I had Bad luck when ‘Darlan’ my 25/1 Champion hurdle horse fell at the last hurdle,he would have gone off 3/1 2nd fav at the festival and I’d said that for a year! Then of course I had good luck when ‘MTOY’ clumsily jumped the last but this time I was prepared for the worst and laid him in running! Now of course my 20/1 shot is 7/4fav for the ‘Supreme’ a race I target a year in advance sometimes, funnily enough and modesty forbids but guess what my selection from last year is the real deal just like I said he would be,I even said he was Champion hurdle material before Anyone.I think the word ‘foresight’ sums me up! As for being £17k down rest assured I’m not,it doesn’t matter how much I won onMy Tent or Yours
on the machine but I did mention the fact I was taking the 5/1 on Betfair well in advance of the race,I’d hate to be accused of aftertiming,No I’ll aftertime all I want to on this thread should I feel the need to support one of my tall stories again it really doesn’t bother me.I have been a little naughty mind as I’ve reinvested the whole lot on the festival but saved just enough for a Happy Valentines day.You enjoy a night with the KY Jelly!
February 14, 2013 at 09:40 #429570Good to see PR run an absolute cracker in the Betfair, just hope they go for the right race
Problem is it will be his first run over fences for over a year and that would concern even me Gary, one thing for sure is the old horse is enjoying himself again………County hurdle too tough do you think?.I hope
Trifolium
runs in that myself! Pleased you are on
Hunt ball
I saw him at Cheltenham and he was a player half a mile from home,I’m surprised they aren’t going the Ryanair route personally as he’s better than a ‘Byrne’ horse,I’ve taken 10/1 myself as I’m struggling to see anything of his calibre in it.
February 14, 2013 at 13:24 #429585Agreed but the owner wants to win and feels the Byrne is the easier option and his money is down
I am leaning towards the CH for MTOY as he keeps shortening up, I have the square root of f*** all on him for that

Good to hear you’ve got enough left to treat your better half Gord. As I’ll treat mine!
You’ve got some great value at Cheltenham and am sure you’ll do well there.
