I’m on holiday just now, and managed to avoid the Racing this week, but that’s a nice card at Leapordstown tomorrow.
Masen is some price in that race, I actually think he’ll win, but the one I’ve taken note of for the future is State of Rest, could see me following him over the next couple of years.
September 15, 2020 at 17:47 #1501631It’s been quite a poor turnout on here this season, I think that I’ll make this my last post on the thread.
I’ve bet High Definition for The Derby and Guineas, and I like him for The Dewhurst as well.
Others that I’ve liked include Brazil and Devilwala.
September 15, 2020 at 22:59 #1501663Not sure the 2yo races have been quite the same yet this year sadly.
3.00 Tipperary on Monday- Baseman who is very well bred (Kingman out of Big Break) looked very promising going forward.
Also in that race i thought Swift Flight back in 6th was pretty eye-catching and should win. Not necessarily in the class of Baseman.Thinking Of You looked promising when winning at Limerick for Joseph as well.
I’ve taken a different approach with 2yos in Ireland and have started analysing the 2 days worth of Barrier Trials available to watch back. I think it could be an interesting angle, and i’ll follow that.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!September 18, 2020 at 09:10 #1501890Jack, where would you watch them back?
September 18, 2020 at 13:32 #1501912Kris, i have Racingtv, so i watch them on there. I think you can watch them back on Sportinglife as long as you have a skybet acct so i’d try there?

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!September 20, 2020 at 10:31 #1502292Hi Folks
A couple of 2Year old races that the handicappers have sat up and taken a lot of notice.Coming from one of the noted races Collinsbay (91 rated) is due an outing today at Chelmsford AW dropping back from the top flight to a Cl5 4k. Obviously, will be a very short order !
Collinsbay. Started 4/1 ON !. Never looked at ease throughout the race – perhaps not suited to the All Weather surface ?
September 21, 2020 at 01:44 #1502425Good to see you back Alexander
September 21, 2020 at 13:43 #1502457Thank you – my man.
Glad you see that you have managed to keep plugging on.
Your input appreciated by us all i’m sure.
AlexSeptember 22, 2020 at 10:04 #1502561ALKUMAIT takes a 22lb hike in winning the Dubai Duty Free 19/9/20.
More to follow on this race outcome:September 22, 2020 at 14:38 #1502827Hot from the latest Handicap Updates (Adam Barnes); The race below certainly impressed.
Each year the best 2 years are rated in the 120s. So the races below show the overall picture is becoming clearer. Its generally thought that the O’brien Thunder Moon is heading the list although not as yet rated by our handicappers.

Another, this time from the North at Ayr with ratings at the top end of the scale
September 23, 2020 at 01:41 #1502882Very impressed by Alkumait
September 23, 2020 at 14:47 #1502939Yes Venture, that was some performance by ALKUMAIT & a very good time, according to the handicap ratings that puts him firmly in the top 10 for this season.
September 24, 2020 at 02:47 #1503040Definitely notebook material for next year mate.
September 24, 2020 at 06:45 #1503046La Borrosa looks a strong candidate today: Good winning performance by an expensive purchase but more so the others through collateral form have disappointed.
September 25, 2020 at 13:00 #15032493.00pm Newmarket looks a good 2 Year old contest. The expected rating for the race is 140 however the form to date does not show a rating from any of the 5 matching that figure. There will likely be a class act to come today but I haven’t a clue which one !

Nothing too impressive; Isabella Giles won well enough but Nazuna only officially rated 87 was close enough in 2nd place.
September 25, 2020 at 20:13 #1503401Saturday Newmarket’s Cheveley Park.Happy Romance holds the top rating
September 26, 2020 at 19:25 #1503597Sunday at Chester.
Um… Tricky this race, Kool Moe Dee best at 5f whilst Selected close and best at 6f.
So iff the odds allow backing both could be the answer here.
