I hope that it is ok to start this thread just now. I always like it, so I thought I would get one up and running.
I don’t have anything particular in mind right now, but if I do put one or two up, I hope they will fare better than the likes of Glasvegas who I was keen on last year.
June 6, 2020 at 15:53 #1489958I like Sacred for Royal Ascot
I have bet her for the Queen Mary, looks very powerful and the benefit of getting the race in at the stage she did gives her enough of a rest.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
June 19, 2020 at 10:31 #1491288Good luck with Sacred tomorrow Nathan. I think she’ll be my selection too.
June 19, 2020 at 10:36 #1491293I always look forward to The Coventry.
Admiral Nelson is obviously an exciting prospect, but I’m equally looking forward to seeing Lauded and Existent
June 20, 2020 at 01:25 #1491401Out my depth as usual on this thread, but I’ll give Talbot a mention, as I thought he looked promising.
Hope he runs well today.
June 21, 2020 at 12:08 #1491572Nathan, I think that Sacred is one to stick with.
June 22, 2020 at 15:40 #1491634My usual disappointing contribution to this thread. Like me, Talbot was way out his depth in top 2yo Company, but I’ll try my best to dig something else out.
June 22, 2020 at 16:03 #1491636The main one who impressed me at Royal Ascot was Grammata, I’ll definitely be following her.
June 22, 2020 at 18:21 #1491648Daz will be on here soon saying Sacred for Commonwealth cup. I agree but she wins the Lowther 1st
Did anyone catch a quote from Mrs Haggas regard this horse? I think it was Chapman who was talking about it but I missed most of what was said.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
July 2, 2020 at 16:11 #1492455Not seen quotes from Haggas Nath
Any views on irish 2yos seen last few weeks
PRETTY GORGEOUS Just hose up might not be strong race
CADAILIAC For Harrington won by 9L last night
AOB had HUDSON RIVER win to and few others
And waiting for ESPANIA from AOB Yard to run
Bit later than normal due to virus but at Ascot saw smart performances
BATTLEGROUND Won Chesham i not think win guineas next year not have same feeling of him like i did with Churchill at same time when put him up for 2000 guineas.
THE LIR JET
Won very well 6f think be trip for him way pick up the Ward winner who i also think GOLDEN PAL think another keep a eye on
CAMPENELLE
Won queen mary even though was drawn wide in stall 1 ground dried out for her in the end going to Prix Morny looks like being best group 1 for 2yos if all turn up.
SACRED
Was 2nd behind Ward horse think could turn into Commenwealth cup horse next year owners Cheveley park target group one at Newmarket as main target and a move up to 6f be ideal.
DANDALLA
A impressive winner with Karl Burke always doing well with 2yos this another to keep a eye on to
SEVENTH KINGDOM
Away from Ascot this son of Frankel was very impressive and feel be up to group races later this season.
July 5, 2020 at 12:59 #1492884Thought Victory Heights was one of the main 2 year-olds to take out of Ascot. He’s had to get across from a poor draw, and shaped as though 5 furlongs was much too sharp for him. Ran a blinder considering, entered in the July Stakes this week.
July 6, 2020 at 00:00 #1493027Good luck Krypton, as you said in the thread, crazy price.
I’ll throw my July Stakes runner in as well, Forest of Dreams. No idea if he’ll run, the 20’s certainly suggests that he won’t, but either way, think he’s one to note.
July 9, 2020 at 18:09 #1493379Any views on 2yo races today
And race tomorrow and superlative stakes be intresting to see SEVENTH KINGDOM go in race suprise Dettori not on him.
July 11, 2020 at 16:47 #1493650MASTER OF THE SEAS won SUPERLATIVE STAKES today in quite good style i thought Seventh Kingdom could run better but 3rd was ok
While MASEN for Ger Lyons won well enough will come on a bundle next time out to and 50/1 for 2000 guineas next year
July 13, 2020 at 22:24 #1493815I don’t have too much to add to this thread yet lads + the only one who has really grabbed me is The Lir Jet.
July 22, 2020 at 13:52 #1494677I thought that Happy Romance was impressive on Sunday, and I’ve bet Golden Pal for The Nunthorpe.
Buckers, I’m also considering The Lir Jet for York as well.
August 5, 2020 at 18:05 #1496368Steel Bull may run on sunday in Ireland in group one race over 6f i like THE LIR JET that race
Also tomorrow 2 group races at Leopardstown for 2yos
SNOWFALL 11/2
