Stay Humble runs tomorrow at Fairyhouse over 2m 4f. Interestingly Ruby has decided not to ride him but has opted instead for My Sister Sarah. It’s an interesting choice given the noises surrounding Stay Humble prior to the Bumper at Cheltenham last year, in which he did not end up running.
Perhaps that’s a proxy for the regard in which My Sister Sarah is held.
November 14, 2018 at 10:26 #1380471They’ve ran Stay Humble over 3 miles on good ground. They’d never do that with a Ballymore Horse; heading for the Albert Bartlett, I’d say. Having experience over 3 miles on good ground has become a key indicator for an AB winner (last year’s ground excluded). You can see Elliot bringing Dinons over to Cheltenham for the 3 mile trip to get the course, distance and ground experience.
Tornado Flyer is the horse Mullins has mentioned for this but it’s a long season
November 14, 2018 at 11:07 #1380474I’d agree i think Stay Humble will end up a 3miler, but today is a chance to test him over slightly shorter…He was well hyped but disappointed in bumpers.
Albert Bartlett is his Cheltenham race if he even makes it there!

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!November 15, 2018 at 11:31 #1380514COMMANDER OF FLEET 16/1
Look like making debut over hurdles at weekend at 2m4 while been talk of coming to 2m i think this ideal trip for him though enter for bumper as well at weekend i hope be maiden hurdle instead
November 15, 2018 at 12:37 #1380519He’s Everyone’s Samcro this year Dazler. I wanted to see the form tested first, and once the second bolted up at the weekend i had a go at the 16s.
Hopefully makes it out this weekend but with the lack of rain around i’m not sure he will be.
November 15, 2018 at 17:23 #1380535“He’s Everyone’s Samcro this year”
Not mine.

I’m waiting for Asterion Forlonge to strut his stuff.
November 15, 2018 at 19:20 #1380539Always a risky proposition reading the mind of Willie Mullins but he did say this about Tornado Flyer.
“He can go up to two and a half miles, and if he is good enough to be a Ballymore horse, he can go to two-mile-five. He should be good enough for that. He has the speed to be a two-mile novice hurdler, but we will see when he goes jumping what he is able to do.”
So based on that ‘clear as mud’ vibe
, I’ll have an early stab at 25-1.November 16, 2018 at 08:18 #1380560Yep Mike; he’s teh only horse he mentioned as a Ballymore Horse; 25/1 is a grand price.
Asteroen Forlonge; will he not be a Bumper horse this year? Usually the Point to Pointers go to the Bumper division first. He cost a pretty penny if I recall it right.
November 16, 2018 at 09:52 #1380567Tornado Flyer for me at the moment but there are several on yet another no-so-short list
December 3, 2018 at 23:30 #1387970Hopefully, the experience of running over the wrong trip won’t be lost on Commander Of Fleet. He jumped a little left handed which should be a plus next March. I don’t think he should have been pushed out at all and if he gets back on track over a longer trip that 25/1 will look pretty big.
December 4, 2018 at 01:15 #1387974I’m on Commander Of Fleet at 16s and 20s for this from ages ago.
A tad dissapointed that he was beaten into fourth the other day but it was clearly a pace issue. This would suit him more so at least I should get a run for me money.
December 4, 2018 at 06:16 #1387977Tbh MOM if you have backed him for the Ballymore you should take nothing but positives out of that race. I thought he ran a blinder for a horse that wants further. It’s clear that’s the case now and 2m5f at Cheltenham will be right up his street
December 4, 2018 at 14:35 #1388003Yeah he definitely travelled like a good horse. Just didn’t have the speed to go with them when it quickened up.
December 4, 2018 at 18:29 #1388018Still waiting to see Tornado Flyer unleashed
December 4, 2018 at 21:18 #1388031Tornado Flyer entered at Navan and Punchestown this weekend. Hopefully he gets out.
December 4, 2018 at 22:09 #1388034RP says Cork and Punchestown ?
December 6, 2018 at 01:04 #1388146Yes, correct
