Surely Gordon runs Commander of Fleet up in trip after last weekend, still on my shortlist..
December 6, 2018 at 18:53 #1388263I’m a big fan of champ.
I said on the thread foe the race the three day I was waiting for him to run for months. He looked superb the other day despite pulling. I don’t see him slow enough for the AB. He seems to have enough natural speed but a massive engine.
I’ve added him to my Commander Of Fleet bet.
Champ @ 10/1
December 9, 2018 at 16:56 #1388688Tornado Flyer won his Maiden Hurdle today at Punchestown; beat a few potentially decent horses. Kalum River was 17L back; he had finished 6L behind Commander of Fleet. Kalum River had also beaten Barrington Court, who has since won a lister Bumper.
Happy enough with Tornado Flyer after that..
December 9, 2018 at 17:34 #1388692Come to me looked good too
December 10, 2018 at 01:05 #1388719None of his three wins have been emphatic so might stave off the hype but he travels like a very, very good horse
December 10, 2018 at 08:27 #1388725I fancied Come To Me two years ago for the bumper, obviously hard to keep right. Looked good again yesterday, but I wonder will a horse with his type of lengthy setbacks ever retain enough ability.. fingers crossed he does.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!December 15, 2018 at 21:49 #1389491Tornado Flyer out to 25s on Betfair. Hope he’s alright.
December 17, 2018 at 16:42 #1389637Battleoverdoyen looked a fair tool yesterday.
December 20, 2018 at 14:26 #1389770Carefully Selected entered in a Maiden Hurdle at Leopardstown on 29th December
December 28, 2018 at 06:45 #1390482Added Battleoverdoyen 14s. Going for the 2 and a half mile grade 1 on Jan 6.
Mullins meanwhile looks like ducking it at this stage saying he wants to run Tornado Flyer over 2 miles instead. All very cryptic.
December 28, 2018 at 09:06 #1390484He ran Fiveforthree, Mikael D’Haguenet and Yorkhill over 2 miles prior to winning this.
December 28, 2018 at 09:59 #1390486Surely Tornado Flyer will be going to Naas; thats 2 and a half isn’t it? You’d think Quick Grabim will probably go to the Moscow Flyer and then onto the Supreme. Aramon will probably make teh Dublin Racing Festival on his way to the Supreme. If Elite Charboniere and Annamix hack up today you’d imagine they might get another run in before the festival. Carefully Selcted in there too; also Easy Game, Royal Rendezvous to consider and then there’s Blackbow and Asterior Forlonge, who we havent been out yet. Almost impossible to pick who Ruby will be on for the Supreme or Ballymore
December 28, 2018 at 10:21 #1390489I don’t know whether you’ll see Quick Grabim in the MF- i think he’s met with a setback but not 100% confirmed.
Hopefully Tornado Flyer does end up in Naas- not sure why he would want to avoid Battleoverdoyen for all he looked impressive, he beat very little of note.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!December 29, 2018 at 15:13 #1390726One of the worst grade 1s ever run. Nearly as bad as the previous years renewal. Champ may well be decent but I wouldn’t be backing him for anything on the basis of winning the challow. Shouldn’t really be a grade 1
January 2, 2019 at 16:16 #1391106Tornado Flyer v Battleoverdoyen look like they will meet in the Grade 1 at Naas on Sunday; this should tell you who will be the top Irish horse in this market. Battleoverdoyen has had a boost to his form with Active Force winning at Limerick over Xmas and Tornado Flyer has had a boost with Cuneo winning the Pertemps qualifier in Leopardstown over Xmas.
January 4, 2019 at 13:38 #1391298Both my bets for this turning up on Sunday against Tornado Flyer, very much looking forward to the race and watching Doyen or Fleet coming over the line first.
January 5, 2019 at 21:09 #1391545Actually a great race tomorrow at Naas. The form of BOD and TF’s maidens have been franked but there are other good improving horses thrown in here for good measure; the winner of this race will likely be up there with Champ this time tomorrow. Mullins is quietly confident about Tornado Flyer in his blog
