Penhill at 7-1 looks to me to have the least question marks over him. I’ve bet him for a few pounds, but I will bet more if I could get even 6-1 nrnb
January 13, 2019 at 23:42 #1392442Has anyone heard anything on Faugheen’s wellbeing after that nasty fall? Still say he’s a big player if he’s still on target, especially as Apples Jade surely stays in the mares race.

Sorry mate, just noticed your post. Yeah, think he’ll go here, and Mullins seems keen to keep him over timber. Holds Ryanair entry, but think that could be precautionary. I’ll definitely cover him if he goes here, but unlikely I’ll get the very generous 25’s.Good luck with him, he’s decent.
January 14, 2019 at 03:15 #1392452Cash out bets on Cracking Smart & Sutton Place.
Backed FAUGHEEN 8/1 & BACARDYS 33/1 NRNB EW.
January 14, 2019 at 09:36 #1392462VTC+ Autmnal, Darasso has to be a bet at 16s surely if Bachasson is! Very promising horse i think and giving weight to Bachasson.
I would also add that the 3rd Scarpeta ran a nice race too, he stayed on well over a trip short of his best.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!January 16, 2019 at 11:23 #1392653I agree Jack, he certainly caught my attention as well.
I’m sure he’ll get an entry as well.
January 17, 2019 at 23:28 #1392782Sorry Jack, just caught your post. Yeah, can’t argue with that shout. Type of horse I like, and I’ll be keeping an eye on him for sure.
January 17, 2019 at 23:38 #1392784Really decent set of entries for this, and looks like it’ll be a very strong field as usual.
My two early loud shouts haven’t made it, which was hardly a surprise, but I did add Midnight Shadow the other week.
As Jack says, got to consider Darasso, and he’s a nice price on The Exchanges.
The same applies to the relatively unconsidered, Aux Ptit Soins, and Bachasson, who both ran sound trials over The New Year. I suppose Bachasson is ground dependent, and with alternative entries, but Aux Ptit Soins is back good as new, and has only one target. Both smashing prices.
I’ve always given a good word to Prince of Scars, but he’s seriously risky, as he needs his ground, and he’s probably an Elliot/Giggs “Sub” entry. The one from the yard I really like though is Pallasator, and he stands out a mile here at 40’s NRNB.
Midnight Shadow 16’s
Pallasator 40’s EW NRNBJanuary 26, 2019 at 16:16 #1393833At the risk of sounding like potato and elegant escape….
That performance from paisley park today was probably my performance of the season! I love that in his races he hits a flat spot! It seems to be a trait of many of the great staying hurdlers! Inglis Drever being the most predominant and big bucks done it at times too!
It may sound silly for me to put this horse in that company but I truly think he could be that class one day and he is now my bet of the festival! I know there will be members pick holes in what he’s done but nothing will sway me on this horse. Don’t often get this feeling but I think he’s a superstar. MAX BET AT CHELTENHAM. I know I’ve missed the price but I don’t care I think he’s unrealJanuary 26, 2019 at 16:47 #1393842Looked very smart today. Bet 365 are now offering me a £50 cash out for the bet i have at 25/1 on him, so I’m feeling very proud of myself! I very rarely pick them out so early on, much less get it right!
January 26, 2019 at 17:33 #139386025/1 is incredible let it run bud
January 26, 2019 at 17:40 #1393862Yeah he’s clearly improving a great deal and is now very much a rightful favourite. I’m more than happy to let it run.
January 27, 2019 at 19:29 #1393991You bloody better let that run Peter lol
January 27, 2019 at 19:33 #1393993Not much doing for me in this race now.
Got Pallasator NRNB at 40’s, but I’m more interested in him for a handicap, while if Bachasson went, I doubt I’d leave him unbacked, but can’t see much else for interest.
I’m very sentimental when it comes to Horses, but people, not so much, but those scenes yesterday with PP’s owner were great.
Throw in the fact that he looks the real deal, and I’ll happily cheer him on without a bet, I’d love to see him do it.
January 27, 2019 at 19:39 #1393995I’ve had to have a bit on Paisley Park after yesterday. I did him in a double 9/2 with Froden 9/4 bog so he owes me nothing and think he looks total class, travelled and jumped really well. Had a moments flat spot but was soon back on the bridle. Looks like it will be a decent race if they can all get there in one piece.
Blackbeard to conquer the World
January 28, 2019 at 01:41 #1394013I think I’m with you lads. Think he’s a game price as it is in an open year.
Only bet before this was Cracking Smart e/w at 33s.
That current price of 5/2 NRNB for Paisley Park is more than fair in my view.
Paisley Park @ 5/2 NRNB
February 8, 2019 at 06:14 #1396854At the prices my main fancy is FAUGHEEN 8/1 NRNB
Have also backed SAMCRO EW 8/1 NRNB. The likely hood is he wont make Cheltenham, or if he does he might run in the Champion Hurdle. With connections having apple Jade for the CH, there is a small chance of Samcro could be stepped up in trip for this.
Connections will only send him to cheltenham if hes firing and 100%. If he does turn up here i think 8/1 EW NRNB is a good bet.
PP is very smart and is defo the horse to beat, but 2/1 is to short for me at this stage and will be around that price close to the day.
THREE BULLETS- FAUGHEEN 8/1 EW NRNB
SAMCRO 8/1 EW NRNB
BARCARDYS 20/1 EW NRNBGood luck
