VINTAGE CLOUDS 10/1 with Big River this be main bet unlucky not to run at Aintree but could be a blessing and can win this race instead.
April 18, 2018 at 14:24 #1350964Added my last one to make 3.

Vicente 10s
Vintage Clouds 16s
The Young Master 25sApril 18, 2018 at 20:06 #1351009I cannot leave Vicente alone at 10-1, I think that is value, I really do.
I missed the 33-1 For Label Des Obeaux, but I have bet him at 20 and 25-1.
April 19, 2018 at 01:33 #1351052Market says Daklondike ain’t going, so already drawing up reserves here, and no point going in again, with final decs later today.
No harm in looking though, and will probably come from these…..
Vicente
Ballyoptic
Folsom Blue
Sizing Tennessee
Guitar PeteApril 19, 2018 at 04:49 #1351055Have Also Backed The YOUNG MASTER AT 20/1 EW
Good Luck all
April 19, 2018 at 15:18 #1351103Regal Flow’s twice the price he should be at 25/1 imo. Improving (possibly from being moved up in trip) and has won on good ground.
Well worth an EW bet at 1/4 first 4. Will also do EW double with Chesterfield for the big hurdle
April 19, 2018 at 16:39 #1351121So far I have backed three horses ante post for this
GLENCAIRN VIEW 33/1 a big price on his run behind pairofbrowneyes
LOOKING WELL 25/1 would have won last time out over four miles if he hadn’t ducked out at the last
INDY FIVE 40/1 was impressive in a Newbury novice then had a sighter round here last. Like the jockey booking too!!
April 19, 2018 at 17:07 #1351128As the ground looks like being G/S at worse and he’s sneaked in at number 30 I’ve thrown a few quid each way on Fact Of The Matter. Has been off for 161 days which is a positive as he seems to run his best races off a break. Off the minimum weight at 50/1 he might sneak a place
April 20, 2018 at 07:31 #1351194My final 3 (+1)ew…
Vicente 10s
Vintage Clouds 16s
The Young Master 25s
Sizing Tennessee 20s free bet.Good luck all.
April 20, 2018 at 11:50 #1351212Fagan for me at 14’s to go with Beware the bear EW @ 25’s
GL those having a bet.
April 20, 2018 at 12:12 #1351215Ballyoptic 12s
Fagan 14sApril 20, 2018 at 12:41 #1351216I’m going to perservere with Silsol at 25s EW.
The handicapper has been kind enough to drop him another couple and Cobden rides.April 20, 2018 at 13:20 #1351219Managed to kick out a good few with very little though and I’m left with four:
REGAL FLOW – Convincing at Uttoxeter, seems progressive even at 11 and has enough decent ground form to suggest it’s trip that’s the key rather than testing going.
GET ON THE YAGER – Going along nicely until getting stuck in the mud at Uttoxeter. That track is one that I am prepared to forgive a horse a bad run in the mud as it can be worse than bottomless. Balance of Get On The Yager’s form puts him in here with a strong chance and best price 33/1 looks tasty.
FAGAN – I wasn’t too chuffed with his second to Black Corton but bearing in mind how that one has gone since that was a very decent effort. Needs the good ground to be seen at his best and I presume Mr Elliott has had this race lined up since the autumn. Trainer will have him primed and I expect him to be thereabouts.
STRAIDNAHANNA – A strong stayer and the ground has come right for him to follow up on his Catterick win. Class may find him out but worth a pot at a best price 50/1.April 20, 2018 at 18:34 #1351266I’m pleased that Fagan has made it here, and he’d definitely be the main fancy. There should be no excuses with the conditions. Likewise Vicente, I originally intended him to be a saver, but as I’m not quite going to hit my limit on this, I’ve topped up.
I just like Sizing Tennessee, I think he’s a late bloomer, and been chipping away the last 48 hours. I’ve also topped up on him each way at 16’s with 6 places up for grabs.
That should be more than enough, but I’ll be watching Sizing Codelco in running, ground could be key for him, though the suspicion is there, that he’s being prepared for next term.
Fagan 12’s to 16’s
Vicente 9’s and 10’s
Sizing Tennessee 20’s
Sizing Tennessee 16’s EW 6 PlacesHappy with the line up, pretty decent.

April 20, 2018 at 20:37 #1351283The Young Master at 20s added to my original punt on Gold Present 25s.
April 20, 2018 at 20:52 #1351285A cliff horse for a long time (to the extent I now call him The Young B@stard), TYM gives me a right headache tomorrow. He’s had a wind op and has begun to show a faint glimmer of talent again.
With Sam’s claim taking him down to 10 stones, he’d romp this if anywhere close to his best and if Sam sweats down. He hasn’t done below 10.3 for at least a year, but I don’t know if he’s been required to.
April 20, 2018 at 21:48 #1351290With Coral going 7 places, I’ve played two each way. Coral are top price on both too which is nice.
Gold Present 1 point each way at 16/1. Progressive before his run last time. He did bleed which is a worry but chanced him at the price.
1.5 points each way Beware The Bear @ 22/1. And some multiples too. Backed him each way in the ultima where he stormed home to finish fourth when being tapped for toe coming down the hill. He flew up it though and this step up in trip will suit. Was fancied in the 2017 4-miler and this race will be one he will love. Fancy him here.
Gold Present e/w @ 16/1 & Beware The Bear e/w @ 22/1
