    Love this race,

Measureofmydreams – Looked a very nice prospect last year, but his season went off the rails a bit towards the back end of the season. Chance if he can recapture his earlier form from last season, and he did finish 3rd in The 4 Miler at The Festival, but others from Giggs do look more appealing. 12’s

Not often we dont agree about a horse Bob but Measuerofmydreams jumped off the page at me last night when I scanned down the field. This fellow has always ran well fresh so todays the day for him simple as that.Well if you want a bit of form to confirm why he has a helluva chance it has to be the 4 miler like you say.Best form in the race for future winners by far..12/1 had to be taken by moi…e/w of course. :good:.I’m told he’s had a wind op too, that could just be why he ran so badly at Sandown.

We agree APK – I am very confident about measuerofmydreams and that was before I knew about a wind op. Looking forward to this

Yeah Gord, we’re normally on the same page, and I’m not dissing this boy by any means, especially now I know about that Wind Op  As I said earlier though, all bets off for me, the race has a totally different complexion to what I expected, there ain’t much “filler” in there, and it looks a cracker.

Good luck :good: (and to everyone else with their selections)

If you two are on him and fancy him strongly, and since following NH Chase runners has yielded a very nice profit backing blindly at level stakes, it’d be stupid of me not to back him too. 18.5 along with Prince of Scars at 8.6

Good call on Champagne, Bobby. Different horse now. Frustrating in the past, but nice to see the obvious ability finding its reward. He should go on from this. What big odds have you about him?

Thanks Joe :good: I screamed him home, badly wanted him to win this once he was declared, and was all about him today to be honest

    Ryanair 120’s to 260’s
    Gold Cup 550’s to 1000’s

Well done Venture, I had him down as a 2m4f horse but he stayed strongly there-no doubt his jumping helped!

    Well done VTC.
If going for the Gold Cup it’ll add again to the front-prominent runners.

Nice one Bobby, those are tasty prices you picked up. He’s best priced 20s for the Ryanair and
50s for the Gold Cup now. I think you’ve been gathering a nice Festival portfolio over the last
    couple of months :good:

My goose was cooked with Rogue Trader before the 3rd, something was well amiss there
and Geraghty did the right thing and pulled him up by the 6th :-(

I’d gladly sacrifice those bets for a Champagne West victory.

That was pretty impressive there Bob,he certainly got the trip easily.Well done.It will be interesting to see where he goes now as Cheltenhams a course he’s familiar with.As for my bloody selection.I had a tenner e/w at 12/1 last night,he drifts to 14’s so I have another tenner to win,he goes to 16’s so another fiver then 18’s,another fiver,20’s,another fiver,22’s another fiver,26’s and I’m beginning to think hold on a minute horses I back go the other way in the betting. That performance was a disgrace he was never in the race.TAPK’s not happy and when he’s not happy we know what that means…Another Hero gets another £50 on at 10’s.

Who was the jockey on Measureofmydreams?? Looked like a bucking bronco over the first few. Never got the horse in a rhythm or in the race. Looked like he was trying to jump off at a couple. Sour grapes on my part after backing it, but they must be lining up another pot judging by the ride he was given.

Yeah, that wasn’t great Jamie, and for your info, it was Jonathan Moore, though to be fair to the jockey, I think the horse wasn’t quite 100%

Good to see you back here, thought you’d done a runner :bye:
