    Meant to say to you Grass, you must have been relieved when Wadswick Court was headed by Alcala…….still a good shout though, I couldn’t have had him.

    I thought he looked tired coming over the last and that he would be beaten by more. The whole way up the run in I was thnking, why didn’t they put James Bowen on him? That was the original plan I believe and don’t know why he wasn’t on. The claim would’ve made the difference. Still, I can’t pretend I would’ve had a wedge on him if he didn’t already have one on him ;-) It would have been a small E/W as I was so proud of my Cup Final bet that I had convinced myself CF was going to storm home by 5 lengths…
    Adam Wedge gave the 2nd a good ride and as my granny used to say “If ifs and ands were pots and pans there’d be no call for tinkers”. On the plus side I still got some E/W points in the handicap comp :-)
