I’ll be cheering on The New One. A class apart and i can see his stamina coming into play in the ground. Got 16’s last night and will just love to see him show he’s still a class act!
I quite fancy Old Guard at a price too. Not badly treated and the jockey is on some roll!
November 19, 2017 at 15:02 #1327629On Tigris River at 14s
November 19, 2017 at 15:09 #1327630Have shifted some of my london prize bet now as a precaution and added elgin in
London prize 20/1 e/w
Flying tiger 16/1 e/w
Elgin 16/1 e/wLondon prize just turning up has gave me a great position on the race, has been pretty lucky considering he done me a turn last saturday
Happy with the result
Absolutely gutted for london prize, that didnt look a good fall atall, put a dampner on the result
November 19, 2017 at 15:09 #1327631Backed Elgin last time out. Probably should’ve stuck with him. Oh well.
Well done winners.
Looked a terrible injury to London Prize. Wish the horse well but I fear the worst.
November 19, 2017 at 15:19 #1327633Well done Chivers and ham. Tried to go through to see who else picked the winner but the site is so desperately slow this weather that it would have taken me 10 minutes. Well done all Elgin backers.
November 19, 2017 at 15:22 #1327637Ruk reporting london prize is up! Great news, he didnt deserve togo down like that, was in with every chance! Hopefully he will make it back!
November 19, 2017 at 15:25 #1327638WD Chivers, ham and everyone with EW money. Great to hear LP got up.

Now itv saying hes been put down? How can they report it so differently??
November 19, 2017 at 15:26 #1327641I’m afraid he was put down Ham, sickening news.
November 19, 2017 at 15:27 #1327643Nice winner thanks but the news on London Prize is a dampener. Lovely, versatile horse. I believe his owner was on holiday so that’s a real bummer for her.
November 19, 2017 at 15:40 #1327652That spoiled the day for me. Poor London Prize.
The New One plodded on but was simply outpaced at the finish.
I lost a bit on Elgin last season, so was a bit galled to have lost faith in him. Well done to his backers.
At least I got a run from The New One at 20/1. As always, getting good odds is the easy part of the equation. I had Gosden’s Utmost at 14/1, he went off 4/1 but never looked like collecting.
A message to JP McManus:-
If you want to win the race, run your best hope, rather than all the dross. They got what they deserved today ie SFA
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
November 19, 2017 at 15:49 #1327655It’ll be particularly tough for LP connections as the inclination after Wincanton was to miss this race. I think they decided only on Friday to go ahead.

Tough loss but hes ran twice in 6 days before, he looked to be bang there 2 out, definitly wasnt a tired fall,
A sad loss, he still had alot to give over hurdles!
November 19, 2017 at 16:20 #1327675WELL DONE BOZ CHIVERS and HAM

Top stuff guys. I have said it through gritted teeth a little though.
Was on Misterton big at 14/1 and 12/1 and to make matters worse Mrsraymo backed the winner at 16/1 but only after she found out Flying Tiger was a non runner!!Hell of a shame about London Prize
November 19, 2017 at 16:21 #1327676Oh and by the way did anyone think William H Bonney would have gone very close with a prep run??
I was on five places for that though””November 19, 2017 at 16:54 #1327683Just want to give a mention to the new one who ran a mighty race giving weight on that going . also to bet365 for paying 4 places with only 13 runners
November 19, 2017 at 17:34 #1327699Oh and by the way did anyone think William H Bonney would have gone very close with a prep run??
I was on five places for that though””Aye, Raymo. King said afterwards:
“My other horse (William H Bonney, who finished fifth) ran a mighty race and I thought he probably travelled the better of the two. He’s probably got a bit tired in this ground on his first run back”
