    Entries have been published………

Clan Des Obeaux could be interesting. Nicholls said that him jumping to his right was a confidence thing, and he’s had his wind fixed over the summer which can work wonders.

Jonjo’s had 3 winners and 1 second in this since 2006. He has just one entry – Go Conquer who won well last time at Fontwell (runner-up As De Mee won on Saturday). The horse is a fine jumper and is not yet fully exposed at this trip, earning the comment ‘no extra’ when 5/23 in the Ultima won by Un Temps Pour Touts over 3m 1f.

Coleman talked him up after Fontwell and my concern about betting him now is that Coleman said his next race would probably be Ascot. But with Jonjo’s success in this race, it’s hard to see him missing it so I’ll add him for a small bet for now at 25/1.

but early doors I like Go Conquer at 25-1 and I also like Gold Present at the same odds but no bet yet

I have bet the pair of them at 25-1 each way.

I agree with you completely Steeplechasing, he has to go here surely. It wouldn’t surprise me though to see him at Ascot too on Saturday

Money certainly talks and there’s been a few wedges gabbing about Gold Present this week. I’m already tucked in with 33s and 25s but I’m happy with the support I’ve seen. Nicky was coy when questioned by a certain ‘whippy1mr’ (who?) on Twitter, although I really think he was made for this race. Looks absolutely chucked in as well.

Gold Present for me too Boz…I read that Tweet from ‘Whippy’ and I notice Nicky always replys to this fellow…His run at the festival had ‘Mackeson’ written all over it but I only got 25/1.This horse will have a good season,he epitomises a Henderson plot horse.Good luck.

Nicky likes the race, He’s had 24 runners in it in the past 20 years, but just 1 winner. Jonjo’s haul is 3 from 15

Always like to hear of horses having had a wind op, cheers Degaussed.

With Nicholls horses you’d be as well asking for the list of those who did not have wind ops

    @ Lemons
    @ Joe

Good luck guys with Go Conquer, that was a great performance at Ascot. Seriously considering opening a Betstars Account, and taking the 25’s myself. I’d have him fav.

Aye, Bobby, Jonjo says the ground will decide whether he goes for this or waits for the the old Massey Ferguson. Plenty 16s around – I didn’t see that 25s. They must believe he ain’t going or will be weighted out.

They believe they have a National horse but he’s just a bit too much of a free runner for that to my eye though he has time on his side to ease off a bit on that trait

I like him for The Ryanair Joe, he’s with connections who’ll go for the big races, and I’d say The Rooneys will be desperate for him to be a National Horse in time, though I think he’d be high enough in the future.

Even though he’s not 100% to head here, I just have to have Go Conquer onside after that yesterday, and now have 3 fighting my corner. That will have to do, and I hope at least two of them make it. Three would be great though lol

The winner of this runs tomorrow (well wishful thinking perhaps)

Politologue runs in the Haldon Cup at Exeter and is 5/2 Fav with the next three pretty tight in the betting.

I’ve had a go on Politologue at 5/2 and hopefully he can pay for the bet in the bigger race.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

I had already bet Politilogue for this at 20-1, + I am just a little surprised that the likes of Ladbrokes are holding it. It may have been a hard race for the horse + and he might bypass it, but I have had another 2 or 3 pounds on at that price.

That looked an awfully hard race for all horses involved and I’d expect it to have taken its toll.

As low as 8/1 with Stan James, I am surprised to see so much 20/1 left on the boards for Politologue.

A young horse going places, he has to have a great chance of following up and he won’t be 20/1 come the day.

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
