an absolute rout – well done BDM backers!
November 25, 2017 at 15:10 #1328582fair play to BDM turned out a one horse race
November 25, 2017 at 15:11 #1328583Reproducing within a stone of that would give him a great chance in the Gold Cup
November 25, 2017 at 15:11 #1328585Farking hell. 57 length. Blaklion owners must feel pretty good, too.
November 25, 2017 at 15:12 #1328586I just want to put it out there that I was never crabbing Cue Card in his day, but his day is over and it’s time that connections would let go and do what’s best for the horse. The baton was passed today and we have a very exciting horse in the making in Bristol De Mai. Fantastic performance!
November 25, 2017 at 15:13 #1328587Well that wasn’t pretty to watch and I think there is now a legitimate reason for calling it a day for Cue Card as he wasn’t travelling from a long way out (could be the ground but it was heavy last year when he won).
Good performance by the winner but then that is what he does at Haydock on bottomless ground and I remain to be convinced that he can do that on quicker ground and on an undulating track.
November 25, 2017 at 15:14 #1328588Crazy. He has run at Haydock three times now, and won by 22L, 32L and 57L in Gr.1/Gr.2 races. They should name the track after the horse.

Doubt it, they’ll be hammered by the handicapper for the National now.
Value Is EverythingNovember 25, 2017 at 15:16 #1328591Congrats bdm backers
Cue card definitely had his last race there, gave it all, ran a great race has regressed enough youd say in that one performance
The form of the race is definitely questionable as theres no way obviously Cue card ran to anywhere near 160 but taking nothing away from the winner! Great on his day
November 25, 2017 at 15:17 #1328592Grim to watch Cue Card on and off the bridle so early and crawl home like a plater. I’m not aftertiming in saying they should have finished him after Wetherby and most definitely should now.
November 25, 2017 at 15:17 #1328593That was SUPER impressive, I just wonder if Jac (Triptych) has any voice left after that.
Your Triple Crown bet doesn’t look just so iffy now JacNovember 25, 2017 at 15:19 #1328595Blacklion didn’t appear to get home at Aintree and I think the Welsh & Irish Nationals and whatever they call the Whitbread now would be tailor made for him.
November 25, 2017 at 15:20 #1328596Form is extremely dubious.
Cue Card nowhere near his best. Why Cobden chose the inside and not to make it – baffles me. But even so it wouldn’t have made any difference – nowhere near his best anyway.
Bristol De Mai got an easy run of it with nothing taking him on and the only horse to stay the trip. But having said that, 8/1 for Kempton!? Seems an insult.Value Is EverythingNovember 25, 2017 at 15:20 #1328597That performance being quickly downgraded by a few on twitter. I wouldn’t be so hasty. First time for a while he’s put back to back wins in. My main concern would be that he’s not yet mastered the jumping lark but there must be some engine turning over in that big frame.
November 25, 2017 at 15:22 #1328600Bet Sizing John’s connections are glad they gave the race a miss after watching that slog

Yes and same for Mite Bite
Blackbeard to conquer the World
November 25, 2017 at 15:25 #1328604Bristol de mai just handled the ground better than the others. On good to soft it would have been a fight between Tea for two and cue card.
Should be a good king George with the three I’ve named above, sizing john, coneygree, maybe djakadam, might bite etc
