Well done Chivers.
Fingal Bay ran a good race, couldn’t shake off the brilliant winner.Charles Darwin to conquer the World
December 9, 2015 at 20:51 #1225181I think his injury was far more serious than we thought. They have yet to start working with him and at this stage they can’t even tell how much fitness the horse has lost. Boxing Day is only 17 days away and I doubt that they can get him ready that fast. In my opinion the King George comes a bit too soon and it will be a pretty hot race this year to put him in, considering his interrupted preparation. Probably some people here might know a bit more at this stage.
December 10, 2015 at 10:07 #1225208I feared the worst after the latest interview with Lady Oakesy well over a week ago…
Seems to me they were all singing from different hymn sheets…when it first happened it was a minor setback and after getting a shoe back on were told he did a fantastic gallop, but then the not so good schooling session under Nico.
Plan still seemed very much King George or Lexus which was looking to be slightly favoured…
Then Lady Oakesy came out saying both those targets may come too soon which didn’t make sense to me with over 4 weeks to go and no other apparent news of any further setbacks…
Would be a crying shame to miss one of those two after already missing Betfair or Hennessy…
