As for my brush with Pilsen , its simple , I don’t allow anyone to be gratuitously offensive to me under any circumstances , if you cross the line with me you certainly dont do it a second time.

    imo

You need to grow up- your pathetic thread on betfair chit-chat certainly proves that. What absolute bollocks, how empty is your life for you to have done that, are you 12? Behave like a cretin and you’ll get treated like one. This is why I ignore you and your sort.

    Oh, Merry Christmas

    Oh, Merry Christmas

Time was you would get banned for a post like this , but sadly no longer , this person can apparently do and say what he likes , he must be exempt

I wont even begin to comment on the content

its a bad day for the forum though , this sets a precedent and a marker , from now on anybody can behave like this with total impunity

    This !!!

Ricky for the sake of the forum
and for common sense allow me
    my twopennyworth.

We have here two strong personalities
two splash writers who under normal
    circumstances give fine contributions
to the health of this place.

Nobody has died here nobody has shed blood.
There is an old saying that if you live by
sword there is an expectation you may die by it.
Those that write forcefully should expect
    force in return.

I do not condone what Mr Pilsen has said
or the way where he has said it. However
it is my belief he is responding to your
    kissing friend remark, which although
lacking the strength of his reply,
does have incitement for some possible
    negative response.

Let us hope these are the final words
in this matter and if more is to be added
let it be confined in the bleak thread
which is where it originated and
which is dark enough to hide it.
If a line is drawn now in the sand
I would hope that both of you could
co-exit, shoulder to shoulder, in some
sort of workable sufferance of each other,
and possibly using avoidance techniques for
a period. If that doesn’t work, then you
will best both decide what is best for the
    health of this place.

We are at the festive time of the year
and I wish you both good tidings

Oh to be able to write like the Master of prose.
Beautifully put Gamble and being someone who has
crossed swords with the likes of ‘Fist’ I can
concur with your words. Merry Xmas Wordmaster!

Thank you King, likewise, and I hope
those baked tarts your planning come
out well for Xmas and sit well
    next to our oversized turkey.
Yes I was thinking of leaving Tryppie
to her love triangle and joining you.
I believe and hope I come from your
    stable of posters that
    shoot between the eyes from
an old musket that exudes billows
of colourful smoke and of course
    we share the notoriety of
    of a common birthplace –
the village of the banned.

    THREAD OF THE YEAR

    Nathan – I have a

    cunning plan

    and need your assistance.
    My early catholic conditioning prevented
me from adding this directly to the voting section
but maybe Cormack or Matron might
consider obliging. If not I would hope
that this evening, if you have time and inclination
you might enter a voting list here in racing
of a hurried list of best thread of the year
that my old dog flatcapgamble selected. He went for
ten.If there are any serious omissions then by all
means fiddle with it or add them.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT AT WARREN PLACE – Joniblake

    BET PRO-GAMBLER REPORT – Betlarge

    LETTER FROM AUSTRALIA – Robert99

MORE FOBT HOME TRUTHS FROM REAL PEOPLE – Betlarge

IN MEMORY OF CRISP IN HIS 50TH YEAR – harshthakor

THE DAY WE BURIED RED RUM – Steeplechasing

THE MIDNIGHT CLUB – Venture to Cognac

TWO LEGENDS MEET UP – The Ante post King

    BLEAK SERVICE – gamble

    GINGERS JUMPERS – gingertipster

( There are many excellent threads in Lays and Plays
and Trends section. Apologies to Robnorth,Venture,Eyecatcher, El249, TAPK, THM, BHison, BB, and others but the dog likes ginger biscuits at a good price so selected Ginger to represent you.)
p.s. Mistaken about Grime’s excellent thread that was in 2012
and apologies to him for getting that wrong.

The Day We Buried Red Rum is my favourite thread and I’ve resurrected it two or three times.

But it originates from October 2012.

Bleak Service is much older, of course… Feb. 06

Yes quite right so we need two
    more to replace them. Perhaps
you might select them or Nathan
    or anyone. 8)
Whatever we would have to select the first
    two whatever for expediency

    Not bother at all
    or not bother
    to find two more :?:

    Possibly leave it to
    the maitre d Nathan to
    go with it or not

    The Red Rum thread is
    a classic.

    The bleak was reactivated
    this year with anew direction.
    Red Rum never worried about
    a three month wait
    for the National so let
    them slip in unnoticed into
    the current year.

    A good executive decision
    and see you’ve added
    Grimes’s Near Death Experiences
    which has been very thought
    provoking. Unlike Mr Pilsen
you slept early and kept a
    clear head

    We’ll see how it goes
it is very quiet at the
    moment pre-Xmas

    Thanks

Not nominated for one award. I have taken this very personally.

Gobsmacked to see the best jumps jockey category without Geraghty
