Thanks VTC and Peruvian, like I said before, if Coral didn’t like me before, they’re gonna love me now….not

I feel a winner having the knowledge that you’ve stuffed it to those cowardly buffoons. If I was you I’d withdraw the entire lot and take great pleasure in telling them you were taking your business elsewhere.

That is most certainly the plan Peruvian, with great pleasure I’ll give them two fingers and ride into the sunset

That’s the stuff, one for the home team.
Perhaps a detailed letter to Simon Clare is also in order.
September 21, 2013 at 16:02 #452080That’s a cracking idea Peruvian, I already have a letter typed out which was going to The Contact Centre Manager, Gala Coral Customer Services, Globe House, Woking, but that’s a bit faceless so I see on Gala Coral Group website he (Simon Clare) gives his e-mail. As Director of Communications he might be best to look at the total lack of communication between the traders and both the staff at Coral and the customer. Good call.

Thumbs up, if you get a reply I’d appreciate you putting it up.
I’d mention that you have publicised this cowardly approach on this well known Forum, which makes a mockery of the pronouncements of "Bookmaker v Punter" in a big betting race like the AGC.
We are taking working-mans stakes for crying out loud.
September 21, 2013 at 18:05 #452085Well done to those who backed the winner
I was looking at the form prior to the race and spotted Highland Colori’s Silver Cup second last year – only just lost and raced on the unfavourable far side.
What a day for young Oisin

Indeed – a huge treble at a prestigious meeting. Can’t remember the last time a claimer had such a day. Buick?
September 21, 2013 at 19:32 #452089Well done Big G – nice to see one of us nail the winner!!
Frustratingly my picks finished close up but not close enough. Fair to say the draw did for the likes of Our Jonathan and Regal Parade – that’s the way it goes sometimes in these big sprints eh.
I share your frustrations with Coral. They usually restrict my online account. I think the maximum I can get on with them is £20 but not unusual if they restrict me to a fiver early morning. They are a joke of a business IMO. I don’t recall winning big (for me) with them either.
The one that got away today was Fast Shot in the Silver Cup. I was on each way but a 33/1 winner would have been nice. Tim Easterby’s horse are running better now than they have all season.

It was a four timer. And although i remember a few of the apprentices riding trebles, i think you’re right about Buick.
Incidently, it’s almost a year to the week since Tylicki rode that five timer at Newcastle, followed by a treble at Yarmouth.

I didn’t notice the last result, what a day for the kid. Sort of thing can really kick-start a career.
September 22, 2013 at 17:49 #452148I have been quietly waiting for a new star apprentice to appear since Buick. Two have emerged in Ireland this year and now Oisin.I find the emergence of a young jockey as exciting as the emergence of a star 2yo.If Murphy does as good as Buick he will be known by his given name I bet.Oisin was an Irish prince but not a saint!

They’re brilliant if you can latch on to them early whilst they’re claiming 5 – 10 pounds. Darren Egan did me some favours last season.

Thanks Oasis, it was double sweet for me winning and getting Coral stuffed. They are a joke when the restrict every day punters who bet £20 or £30 on a race.
Peruvian, I will be sure to let you know the outcome of this whole debacle, and thanks again for the suggestions.
There is a cracking little community on this site, supportive and knowledgeable. Cheers to us
