Trainers are creatures of habit and I was rather hoping to hear Gosden say he would run him in the Solario, like he did with Kingman and Too Darn Hot. But he seemed to pour cold water on that idea, which makes me worry about how far up the pecking order he is. But, as said, he is certainly bred to be good.
July 18, 2022 at 19:02 #1607613He was very impressive and one I’m interested in going forward
Can see the race he won producing plenty of winners as the first 5 home all have top breeding
I’d be surprised if there wasn’t a couple of future group winners in there
The question is can we trust gosden to get one ready for a guineas these days
July 18, 2022 at 19:49 #1607621Not forgetting Bradsell, Desert Hero and Holloway Boy. Mind you, Desert Hero looks more of a Derby candidate.
July 23, 2022 at 18:40 #1608269Highbank was super impressive today
That was coroebus esque push button acceleration
July 26, 2022 at 16:48 #1608805I told myself to hold off on guineas bets but iv watched this highbank race 3 times now and I’m getting close to pulling the trigger at 20/1
July 26, 2022 at 20:51 #1608875Could be a wise move FinalFurlong91.
Highbank’s last 3 furlongs were ran in 33.55 seconds … pretty darn fast considering he won rather cosily. His finish was faster than all races/sprints on the same card.
Mega-impressive he was and cannot wait to see him again. Best Charlie Appleby 2YO this year by a mile in my opinion.

August 2, 2022 at 19:33 #1609877“LBB is out of a dam who stayed 10f so little or no doubt he will stay a mile.”
Not necessarily. Ten Sovereigns was out of a dam who stayed 10f as well.
August 6, 2022 at 16:32 #1610250Little Big Bear 11-2 ew . Was impressive no doubt, so will keep this ‘in my back pocket’ for now as I don’t have anything else for the race atm.
August 6, 2022 at 17:05 #1610257Is there a commonwealth cup market yet?
Iv still seen nothing to suggest he’s not very fast and will end up a sprinter after being a beaten fav in the guineas
Ten sovereigns esque
August 6, 2022 at 17:48 #1610270“I’ve taken the 100/7 about Little Big Bear”
One of my better contributions (admittedly amid less than stiff competition).

Didn’t see one when I checked post race.
August 6, 2022 at 18:29 #1610281Hills have him 6/1 to win the commonwealth cup
Much rather take that myself than 5/1 for the guineas
August 6, 2022 at 19:14 #1610287Its impossible to predict. Hes a bloody good horse. Heres hoping he goes on.
August 26, 2022 at 17:22 #1612558Little big bear has a foot injury and likely to miss the national stakes
August 26, 2022 at 18:58 #1612568Highbanks win working out nicely
2nd bolted up next time
3rd just won a pretty strong looking novice at goodwoodAugust 26, 2022 at 23:27 #1612583I think the 2yo contest I saw at Goodwood this evening will be a rich source of future winners.
