Trainers are creatures of habit and I was rather hoping to hear Gosden say he would run him in the Solario, like he did with Kingman and Too Darn Hot. But he seemed to pour cold water on that idea, which makes me worry about how far up the pecking order he is. But, as said, he is certainly bred to be good.
He was very impressive and one I’m interested in going forward
Can see the race he won producing plenty of winners as the first 5 home all have top breeding
I’d be surprised if there wasn’t a couple of future group winners in there
The question is can we trust gosden to get one ready for a guineas these days
Not forgetting Bradsell, Desert Hero and Holloway Boy. Mind you, Desert Hero looks more of a Derby candidate.
Highbank was super impressive today
That was coroebus esque push button acceleration
I told myself to hold off on guineas bets but iv watched this highbank race 3 times now and I’m getting close to pulling the trigger at 20/1

Highbank’s last 3 furlongs were ran in 33.55 seconds … pretty darn fast considering he won rather cosily. His finish was faster than all races/sprints on the same card.
Mega-impressive he was and cannot wait to see him again. Best Charlie Appleby 2YO this year by a mile in my opinion.

Little Big Bear 11-2 ew . Was impressive no doubt, so will keep this ‘in my back pocket’ for now as I don’t have anything else for the race atm.

Iv still seen nothing to suggest he’s not very fast and will end up a sprinter after being a beaten fav in the guineas
