Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...Not sure I’ve ever seen a horse get a more desperate passage than Royal Scotsman! He should have been very close!

With this year’s older milers looking a bit “meh”, he could clear up over the trip.
For a moment I thought the runner up was going to sluice home but then started to run around and the winner has been a real professional and just galloped straight and true and really saw out the trip and was pulling clear.
