Miles clear on ratings so should be odds on but drifts like a barge and doesnt finish off her race
Hope donnacha doesnt swerve newmarket
April 11, 2021 at 14:53 #1535892Donnacha will do what Listen Senior and the Lads tell him to FF.

April 11, 2021 at 17:14 #1535904Listen has issued caution about Santa Barbara today. “She’ll be very green in the Guineas and will learn a lot”.
Can see this drifting like a barge if we get a decent trial winner, or Listen Junior is told he can give it a good go with Pretty Gorgeous.

April 11, 2021 at 17:22 #1535906You hardly would’ve expected her to be strong in the market after those remarks?
It was a trial and she was beaten on debut last year, so perhaps always needs a run to get fit.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!April 11, 2021 at 17:24 #1535907The full quote from AOB…
“Santa Barbara is working very well. She’s going through her work in second gear with all the fillies.
We were going to come here and then we said we’d go straight for the Guineas.”“It’s a big ask for a filly only after having one easy run in a maiden to go to the Guineas. She looks exceptional in her work, but she’ll be very green going to a Guineas. She’ll learn a lot either ways.”
What he’s trying to say is that she will win without needing a prep run and will only get better as the season goes on.
April 11, 2021 at 20:57 #1535939The last 7 winners of the 1000 Guineas that had a prep race were all beaten on their 3 year old debut. Thought it was a perfectly reasonable trial race for Shale actually. Topped up on some of the 25s available immediately after the race.
I’d be really surprised if they don’t let DOB take his chance at Newmarket personally
April 11, 2021 at 21:38 #1535943Very reassuring stat that frenchy

She looked to be crying out for a mile today which is another reason to be hopeful

I’m more in Ryan’s camp in thinking a mile would be stretching itGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
April 14, 2021 at 15:57 #1536387Good for you William! Every chance of an additional furlong on pedigree, and she stayed on well enough. I wouldn’t rule her out, nice bit of course form there.

April 14, 2021 at 16:02 #1536390She’s a lovely horse

April 14, 2021 at 16:25 #1536395I know I’m exaggerating because she kept coming 2nd and I kept backing her.
