The message must be: if you don’t want the UK to be like ICE’s America and your politics are right of Labour, then the only sane option is the Liberal Democrats. At least their leader would not grovel to Trump. If Reform win the next general election then it really is the end of an era; this country would be finished.
The problem with Starmer is that he is not a politician and has never worked out who will stab him in the back. The cleverest politician in the last fifty years was Thatcher; she neutralised opponents before they could strike. Starmer will survive if he learns from experience.
