I am sure that not so long ago the Wednesday night fixtures at Kempton were covered by a team of two people, usually McNae and Willoughby in the studio. There was no one on track and McNae did not need someone to read the emails out for him.
Maybe having someone on track is better because it means interviews can be done. But given most of the interviews are the usual bland stuff, I am not sure it is that important. In any case, five people to cover an all weather evening fixture of no great consequence is clearly over the top.
I do find it odd how a subscription based channel puts a lot of its prime content on YouTube for free. That is where I often watch “Road To Cheltenham” and the “Luck On Sunday” interviews.
