There was a grain of truth in what he said. But some things are far better left unsaid.

I have far more contempt for the corrupt British politicians who have needlessly sent British servicemen to their deaths in wars which have nothing to do with us than I have for Trump. Then they line up every November with their poppies on, cry a few crocodile tears and pretend to care. They disgust me.
Look at how our ex-servicemen are treated. Plenty of the homeless people you encounter on the streets are ex-military. They have put their lives on the line but are now treated with total indifference by a political establishment which doesn’t give a damn about them. So Starmer can **** off with his outrage.
