Well Un Beau Roman has had me on the canvas twice but I’m going to hit him again for the Festival. He is in this and the Grand Annual (for which he is 33s) Hard to say which way he’ll go and I don’t want to miss the 66s NRNB with 365 for this one. Have backed him at 33s too for GA.

Johns Spirit is incredibly well handicapped, looks a proper plot job for Jonjo!

Got a sneaky one here!! And if it comes up decent ground it won’t be a 33/1 shot thats for sure
OSCAR ROCK Malcolm Jeffersons horse and he knows how to win Festival handicaps thats for sure!!

Won at Market Rasen in a canter and arguably would have beaten Top Gamble at Ayr but for coming down but needs decent ground so if it came up soft wouldn’t want to be on but then again he might not run it on soft.

Despite the obvious credential of Johns Spirit, he really does look chucked in, I’ve parted with my first cash on this race.

Ma Filleule at 34′ and 25’s Each Way, and NiceoneFrankie at 42’s to 46’s, they’ve both become quite strong fancies, and despite my appalling record in the race, I’ve had a good look at it, and half considering a small book on it.

raymo I like Oscar Rock a lot. Tipped him for the PP and he ran no race. As you say top of the ground is essential for him and if he turns up, I’ll have a saver on him
