    Stilvi

It was meant as an example not a contradiction sometimes being in the right place can be a bonus.
I do put the effort in to my betting but to me it is a hobby and I treat it as such.

Surely the way to make it pay is to specialize IE :say only bet in group races or something similar.
Yes trainers know their horses I was lucky enough to do a job at a local trainer asked him if there was anything to keep an eye on he gave me one horse won 2’1 fell won 6’4 won 13’2 pu last five runs don’t think you can complain about that information case of being in the right place at the right time.
Betting is like anything in life you will only get out what you are prepared to put in.
So if you are not prepared to put the effort in then the only option is to give up.
And when you have made your selection and it goes wrong who do you blame you made the choice surely the responsibility is yours and yours alone.

Any one got any thoughts on Saint Are was just looking at Tim Vaughans web site and back in April he said this about the horse
"I am hopeful he can develop further into a Graded chaser in 2012/13, with the Hennessy at Newbury a possible initial target."
has won over 3 miles and went well in soft ground possible each way?

    My two penny worth

I like Trading Leather for this so long as he has recovered from his run at Newmarket.
Not sure if Van Der Neer will stay a true run mile
Steeler will he act on the likely soft going
Kingsbarns could be anything but A O’Brien has yet to have a 2-y-o win in England this year.
My thoughts will most probably be shot down in flames on Saturday but hey ho.

You can’t fault what Reckless Abandon has done But I think he is worth taking on and I like the look of o’briens horse Cristoforo Colombo I’m thinking the coventry form is a bit stronger than the norfolk.
Will be interesting to see how lines of battle gets on to-night.

I think Viztoria 16’1 who ran at the Curragh on Sunday would be my choice but only if it came up soft.

I will most probably have to eat my words after next week.
My Question is just what exactly has Camelot done to be as short as he is for the guineas, he’s beaten 8 horses of which only two have won races Canary Wharf a class 5 event at Wolv’s, Talwar a class 1 at lingfield but what he beat was nothing special!!
As I said in an earlier post I like the look of Dragon Pulse,French Fifteen, Parish Hall and Power who I think has better form in the book than Camelot.
Just wonder if this is another horse AOB is talking up??

I quite like the look of the two french horses if they come over
French Fifteen and Dragon Pulse of the others Parish Hall Most Improved and Power appeal.

I think if he comes over Dragon Pulse @ 25’1 best price looks good.

I have narrowed it down to these few horses

    According to Pete 40’1
    Seabass 14’1
    Rare Bob 33’1
    Mon Mome 40’1
    The Midnight Club 22’1
    Sunnyhill Boy 33’1
    Killyglen 16’1
    Always Waining 40’1

If Jim Bolger was intending to run Glor Na Mara in the race, he looks very attractively weighted.

I agree if he runs will be worth a look 3rd to Frankel in 2010 must be in with a good chance
