I backed Henry for the guineas two weeks early in the AntePost at 16/1. Stuck a 10er on and won £170 :D . So will always punt for this horse.

Alright the ground and trip wasn’t right for New Approach in the Irish Guineas, that was obvious, but the fact remains Henry outclassed that horse in the race

What has Michita got to do with Soldier Of Fortune in the Coronation?

Oh must have got mixed up with Michita running in the oaks then and Youmazin who I backed in the Coronation.

Pattern races are just below listed level right Rory? If wrong what are they……….and how do they come into the breeding side of things?

Was gutted when S.O.F. won the Coronation mate, I’d followed it for a little while but something told me to go for Michita instead which was a bad mistake. Good horse AoB’s SoF.

I don’t get you mate on stud prices for colts?

Like Hughes has said, whilst the owners want a win they also want a jockey they can trust to look after the horse, so he’s rather unselfish about his own career and looks after the horses.

I like Ryan Moore lads, but might be wrong because you lads have probs been watching Horseracing a lot longer.

Moore gets the best out of the horse, to impress me you don’t have to give it a John Thorne (see spartan missile GN 81) or Pat Eddery ‘Roy Rodgers’ whipping performance, just push the horse as far as reasonably possible.

I’ve watched Hughes recently and started to see some of his talents, and tried to appreciate him a little more. Which I have, its just each time I haven’t won, although I do conceed and knew as Rory pointed out he’s in good form of late.
