Mystical powerThanks again Bob for running this fantastic comp.
This is our 10th year of the 10 to follow comp and it seems to get better every year and that is down to Bobby who runs it so thank you very much for keeping us all interested in our selections performing throughout the jumps season Bob..Well played Kris on winning with what must be a record score and to all those who entered for supporting the comp. Its been another exciting season.Cheers.
Aiden O’briens latest excuses for yet another beaten wonder horse of his are probably the most deluded he’s come out with yet.We heard 20 yrs ago how ‘One cool cat’ was the best thing since sliced bread and he failed miserably in the 2004 guineas,we’ve heard the same virtually every year since about what transpired to be average group horses.’High defintion’ and ‘Auguste Rodin’ being the most recent. When you look at his group 1 winning fillies they all beat each other just to achieve black type for future breeding purposes.Incredibly his fav deflecting line is always about a horses ability to stay and always comes out with the we have no idea until they run over further,If Aiden knows how a horses mind works which he loves to mention then he knows the stamina limitations of them too but to suggest that City of Troy wasn’t fit is complete rubbish,to say he’s 16.1 hands high is rubbish too,to say he’s grown into this beast of a horse he’s lead us to believe is rubbish too,to say he reared up in the stalls isn’t true,’Ghostwriter’ was the only horse to come out the stalls badly,to say his heart went into the red zone halfway through the race is laughable as there’s no proof whatsoever of the horses heartbeat during the race.Am afraid Aiden needs to admit that this ‘City of Troy’ is not going to redeem his namesake also named by Coolmore and trained by Sir Michael stoute,he’s just another very decent 2yo who hasn’t grown any or progressed, his ridiculous rating of 125 for beating ‘Haatem’ twice does seem based on hype too now after ‘Notable speech’ beating him easily.Aidens determined he’s going to Epsom next but what else could he say about the best horse he’s ever trained.I can’t see it myself.
Well done Buckers you put your head down right on the line there after what has to be the best comp yet..As per usual without Bob VTC running the show it wouldn’t exist and it certainly gives me the encouragement to study harder so thanks for motivating us again Bob.I am one of the most loyal punters around when it comes to following a horse so to ditch Klassical dream was a big error on my part. This comp shows year on year just what a knowledgeable team we are..I shall be busy backing The Nice Guy for the RSA next year now as he looks like a Gold cup horse so won’t have half a dozen entries for next year’s Cheltenham..Good luck all..We need it.
Allaho
Appreciate it

ShishkinIt’s that time of year again Bob, where does time go? How many years have you ran this competition now? Incredible comp that has grown over the years in both competitors and prize money and I know Gary GDC will be playing alongside myself. I will message you in ample time. Thanks again for making the effort, it’s much appreciated. Its also that time of year where I suggest a day out at Wetherby and we never make it… Oneday pal..
Well done Euroalien, that was some score pal and to win this most prestigious prize two years running proves what a fantastic judge you are. Bobby VTC has played a blinder as per usual and thanks to him we all got an extra thrill from the sport of Kings watching our team of 10 perform. Thanks also for everyone who contributed to the prize fund which of course is what we all want to win and everyone who played. I have already got my 10 for next season lead by ‘Ferny Hollow’.. My 50/1 Champion hurdle bet.. 😎
I demand a re-count Bob.. 😲😲😲.. You are historically bottom of this leader board for 99% of competition.. Thinking that Lostintranslation would win yesterday I was going to offer a £50 bonus to whoever was leading this morning… Thinking it would bound to be me.. 😂😂😂😂.. Am bloody glad I didn’t now.. 🤬🤬🤬🤬
Well done pal.. Said in my Donald trump true sporting loser tone.. Its gonna be an exciting one this.Oh and lets all support the virtual Grand National today.. Its for the real heroes at the NHS.. The aptly mamed ‘The Storyteller’ at 40/1 ew is my selection.. Shame the bloody computer that deciphers all info wont recognise that but hey ho..
Well done Euro.. I had 4 of the top 6 scoring horses and you still beat me with that incredible serlection.. Bloody Honeysuckle.. What was your mindset in selecting her??.. First and foremost I have to thank Bobby VTC for creating the best comp yet.. And that was without Aintree and Punchestown.. Lets hope we’re all here to do it again next season.. There’s a few of us go back a long way on here so stay safe as best you can. Well done everyone involved in this comp it gets bigger and better every year and long may it last.. So long as VTC wins contributor of the year every year as some sort of recognition for his efforts people will realise the work he does. Thanks for messages guys too. It wouldn’t be me to be modest but I thought last year at Epsom I had found my new Dancing Brave in Pinatubo.. I took all the 16s for the 2000gns I could get and 25s for the Derby and 66s for the double.. TAPK has to put things in perspective though and accept that racing is merely a luxury.. Surviving is a different ball game.. Stay safe and oneday we will return to normality and I will continue to reign supreme as the legendary King of Ante-Post betting…

Only one persons going to get double points on winner though greenasgrass.. Delta Work..

9yrs ago now Bob.. We discussed the Kim muir a couple of months prior to race day and agreed to get on at 16/1..I remember backing him at all prices down to 5/1..He went of 100/30 fav on the day and did a Slip Anchor.. Old Faasel had gone to Pipes yard too and he was available at 66/1 on the morning of the race. Backed into 20s..Funnily enough I was thinking the other day that I could write a book on my Ante-post coups of the past 40 yrs. Nobody in the history of the world has landed so many as me.. It cant be just luck pal..

Those were the days Nath.. I remember feeling like one a those trans atlantic gender fluid sorts at one of Harvey Weinsteins parties when I first joined.. As for daring to call myself TAPK.. The wrath and constant barracking I endured.. Nowadays it would cause ptsd but alas I dared suggest that Art Conneisseur would win the Golden jubilee at 40/1 as an introductory post and well.. The King was born..Having Nathan..”I stare in the face of adversity” Hughes as my wingman encouraged me more..

This comp wont really get going till Cheltenham arrives Neil.. You have an incredible team pal.. I will need both subs to keep me in contention but anyone can win it yet.. Always great fun and thanks to Bobby VTC for keeping so smoothly run. Good luck all. TAPK of old would be the 4/5 fav only because of his legendary status.
TAPK reigned supreme on here for over 5 yrs..In several guises..I could argue with myself at times but there was always someone lacking in humour that bit my carrot..I was King once but only at fishing, I could cast my rod and rarely was left with a worm. The King of foresight was always in touch with his feminine side and in this trans lucid world of gender realignement I was ‘Oh so sharp’ the most well proportioned filly I ever did see..She allowed my devilment to play on the vulnerable. What I had in confidence though I lacked in the articulate skills of Gambles..Nobody uses the English language to paint Picasso like you do Sir..I tip my crown to you.

‘Oh so sharp’ won a fillies maiden at Nottingham back in 1984..She was razor sharp and could handle the colts..I of course backed her at 16/1 for the 1985 1000 gns..What a gamble that was too.

Nath..I think it was you who took the pic pal..Am sure Ginge was there lurking like one a those guys who sits at side of road counting cars passing..
