Sakhee`s Secret looks a good prospect – probably about Group 2. With a bit of cut 6 looks the trip.
It looks at first glance just below the ability of Amedeus Wolf at present; but bear in mind that it is only a 3YO and there will probably be improvements in strength and experience. It will certainly give a good account of itself in the July Cup if it is able to cover up and get a good tow.

Thankyou for taking me up on this M5.
No, my memory may be shot, and unfortunately I got rid of my oldest Form Books by mistake; but I`m almost certain the horse in question was trained by P. Kelleway and ran at at Royal Ascot in 1983 in perhaps the Norfolk Stakes. The name of this Odds On Fav. beaten by Sizzling Melody – a somewhat over-raced youngster I seem to remember – was something to do with blue or aqua ? SZ

I`m not into unsolicited tips usually, after all, if a horse has a bit of a chance why give it to all and sundry; it`ll only drive the price down. HOWEVER, I have been a bit of a laggard keeping up with my Forum E-Mail because I have been exceptionally busy setting up my short Racing Season which starts with the Criterion; and I do appreciate the replies and help proffered.

3.05 today @ Royal Ascot Pivotal Point is 14/1
1,2,3 A PLACE on Betfair which equates to Winning odds of 56/1

*Close 3rd last year and flying in
*Ridden by runaway leader in Jockeys table
*Drawn well with the Standside fast runners
*Should be OK on the Going if the rain holds off

MINUS = Ran 2 days ago in a 6f @ Salisbury so hasn`t had much time to recover.

Why am I not betting on the Race ?
1. Too many runners
2. 1st day of Meeting & 2nd Race on card with only a
2YO Race prior so not much chance of an accurate
Going assessment – although without rain it appears
to be fairly firm on the Straight.
3. No true comparison can be made between Australian
& British Form – BUT – their Sprinters do appear
to be stronger, faster, more adaptable and more
rugged than ours and so worthy of shorter prices.

Thanks for all the help with the question about where to obtain Racetimes as quickly as possible in order to calculate the Going. The best answer was the Sporting Life website. The worst – Buy a stopwatch!

CONCLUSIONS = RUK + RUK text

Finally, in answer to the person who tried to remind me about Wind, Rain and the changing position of Running Rails: I would say look up Occam`s Razor on Google and read and digest it`s message.
CAN`T GO WITHOUT A POINTER FOR YOU SADDLEBAGS OUT THERE: PIVOTAL POINT 15/1 A PLACE 1,2,3 ON BETFAIR IN THE 3.05 @ ROYAL ASCOT. If that`s not value then I don`t know what is !

Difference between Standard Time (RP for convenience) and Racetime p/f with a +/- adjustment for Class of Race and age. The figure obtained is then compared with MY Modified Going Stick (MGS) table to produce a mathematically precise Going figure which can then be compared with the assessed abilities of the runners in the forthcoming Race. That`s all for now folks!

Thanks Gareth. Found it. Should have known shouldn`t I ? Will start checking it out for speed of availability of Racetimes.

I fully realise I can go to the races seabird but I am a mathematician and my skills lie in mathematical form study. The point is: I am aware that racetimes can be obtained from RUK, but these appear after 20 to 25 minutes or so and there must be a quicker source. SZ

I need to obtain Race Times asap after a race is completed in order to calculate the actual Going as opposed to the Official Going. Can anyone help me.
