the coolest part of Britian is not where Toots lives that for sure , its a s..thole
Not Notting Hill or Chelsea or anywhere within London
Not the basic aggresive village mentality of the Welsh
Not the numskulls that inhabit the midlands
Not the idiot thieving society around Liverpool or Manchester
Not the drunken rubbish spouted from Glasgow

Try the beauty of the Cumbria or the highlands in Scotland as the coolest place in the UK

Thats the beauty of forums , yes I feel now I couldhave been too harsh , and in truth have spent years at Crystal Palace watching my team , never in a million years , seeing the skill that GB possesed . I am to young to have seen this man play and really appriaciate the class thats all .But can clearly understand and appriaciate the joy felt by millions who experienced his quality . But on the same vein I cant see myself shedding any tears for todays top sportstars , who I feel have a privileged life.
If you have done nothing else EC and Racing for George , youve giving perspective to appriaciate the skill for the skill regardless of outside interference to the likes of me

                        Regards Sky

                  and racing daily just smiled

Understand where you are coming from EC but I will always disagree

I have more respect for the working man who toils for 70 hrs a week in a job that he dosnt like just to keep his family in their home , to pay his bills , and the family are fed ..now to me that is a hero , someone to look up to

I nigh on puke to hear the outrageous sentiments that portray this man as someone to look up to , because he was a good footballer..as I said before, so what

Give me a fireman or a policeman , or an ambulance man ,a brave soldier , now they can earn respect , how about a social worker or a home carer or the millions who volunteer unselfishly to help alsorts , without a mention , the real heros list can go on and on

    A footballer

Well for my money it cuts no ice

Am I to be sad about Beefy, Boycott , or David Beckham ,Steve Redgrave , Will Carling , among others , when their time comes …couldnt give a flying ****
, theve had a ball

So lets stop this rubbish about Georgie
Sorry for his family and thats it

Regards EC appriaciate the strengh in your veiws although wrongly directed as they are ,in my opinion , they are your thoughts and I respect you for that
Well I wont be a hypocrite ,
I feel sorry for the person who did not get the transplant that GB recieved , clear and plain a waste of a healthy organ , which couldhave and perhaps wouldhave been giving to someone who actually cared abouthealthy living and to enjoy a new lease of life to go on for years and live , perhaps a parent with young children , perhaps a 15 year old boy or girl , who knows
A footballer and that is that , full stop , big deal , a job
Next thing you know actors and musicians and politicians will be put on pedestals ……………
Sorry for his family

I think you all should have to take the driving test again and also see a counceller about the underlying issues regarding the rage you feel
The driving test should be complusery every 5 years ,
1 to test peoples ability
2 To test their mental state
I for one am glad that I do not live in the council estates that the above joyriders choose to ply their trade
