    hi printersraces,

Don’t think Chatterbox going for the Supreme. Henderson says may be a year too soon and they’ve got MTOY.

    Elgeansenor1,

Agree that this race still waiting on something bursting onto the scene. Still hoping it’ll be Lac Fontana in the Adonis after his promising run on Saturday. Fingers crossed!

Not too disappointed with Lac Fontana’s effort yesterday. He’ll improve for the run and should be suited by better ground and faster pace. Still hoping for a good run at the Festival, although on the bare form (line through Milord) has it all to do.

Better performance from Boston Bob yesterday staying on strongly to snatch the race one the line. Thought his jumping was good and he should cope with the Cheltenham fences going a faster pace. Can’t believe Willie Mullins is thinking about the Jewson as all the horse appears to do is stay. Come on Willie you know the RSA is the right race for him! :D

Very impressed with My Tent Or Yours yesterday. He’ll be suited to the faster pace of the Supreme and will be a big player, however, surely 9/4 is too skinny?

Willie Mullins now finalised his team and throwing Champagne Fever, Mozoltov and Un Atout at the race. Happy to be on Un Atout as still think he could be a class act, although he still has it all to prove.

I was on Hurricane Fly lat year and year before. Not seen anything to suggest he’s improved to regain the CRown. Happy with Grandouet who has strengthened up and imo only race fitness saw him beaten by Zarkander. Happy to stay with Grandouet and have Zarkender as danger.

    Hi RedRiot,

Appreciate what you say about Bobs Worth beating SIlviniaco but he was not right that day as were a number of Nicholls horses (also appreciate BW returning from breathing operation).

Most of SC best races have been on left hand tracks so can’t agree he’s better right handed.

    Rich,

Agree with your sentiments and think the Cheltenham fences will play to SC strengths.

Anyway, it’s shaping up to be a belter and good luck to all :D

    Hi WilsonL,

Agree with what you say about horses winning weakish looking races. I’d hoped Un Atout would run tomorrow and at least get into a battle and beat horses of the ilk of Waheeb and Champagne Fever. I’m getting mixed messages about this one :?

Every time he has run previously Willie Mullins has been bullish about him. The Bookmakers have been impressed enough with his performance to make him second favourite. Wille said he wasn’t in a rush to step him up in distance but then gives him an entry in the Deloitte over 2m 2f?

Willie Mullins then said the other day that PERHAPS his Supreme runners would be Un Atout and Mozoltov. Is he now going a bit quiet on this one, I hope not!!

    Any thoughts guys??

    Hi MarkTT,

You are right. Chatterbox is the representative for the Henderson stable. Still be a big ask for Lac Fontana to beat him given his thumping of My Tent Or Yours. Still hopeful of a big run though!!

    Hi Harchi,

I boiled it down to form through Tidal Bay. Bobs Worth, Tidal Bay, Flemenstar, First Lieutenant and Sir Des Champs all tie in closely. However, Nicholls first string seems to be Silviniaco Conti and he has already beaten Long Run. If Conti is a better horse than Tidal Bay, which i’m assuming as Ruby Walsh seems keen on him, then it was a no brainer for me.

Good luck whichever horse you go for!

Glad to see Lac Fontana eventually getting a run on Saturday. Tough ask against River Maigue but if he comes through that he could jump to the head of the market, fingers crossed!

Looking forward to seeing Un Atout run on Saturday. Hopefully he’ll stamp himself as the class horse i hope he is and then on to the Supreme.

I’m also in the Peddlers Cross camp, if Donald can get him there? Seems to have had his problems and if over them could be the class act of the race (won the Neptune and 2nd in a champion hurdle). With Big Bucks not there could be a really competetive race.

Leaning towards Silviniano Conti. Previously thought to be a flat track horse, Ruby Walsh thinks he’s the real deal and that’s good enough for me. Looking for a big run on Saturday to enhance his credentials.

I fancied The Last Derby last year but felt he didn’t stay. This year i think A L T Moore has another improver in Ninetieth Minute who should stay ok and was rated much higher as a hurdler. 12/1 seems a good e/w price for me.

    Coincidence or fate???

I fancy Blue Bunting for the Oaks, however, i also like to have an e/w on a bigger priced one. I was looking at Sirens Song and noted she beat Wonder of Wonders on her racecourse debut. Now i know AOB’s fillies have improved for their first run but surely Sirens Song is entitled to improve also. So on my way home i’m thinking Sirens Song is my e/w but just then Rock Radio play a new song for the listeners and what’s it called? yes Sirens Song!! Coincidence or fate? It does it for me

It’s Moolight Cloud for me. Appears to fit the profile of recent winners and trainer says she will love the fast ground. Bred for the job :D
