Not always right, but prices of 200 give you a clue as well…

To be fair, the 200s was a long time ago. I see he’s now trading at around 75s. We’ll see.

And a sky-high price isn’t always that reliable an indicator anyway, as evidenced by the 580s I got for Woolcombe Folly

Well he won the Pertemps Final at the 2008 Festival for a start. And of course he won on his return to hurdles at Sandown the run before last.

It’s obviously clutching at straws, but Nigel said plans are flexible, so you never know.

I read a quote from Meade suggesting that it would be too late to switch Muirhead to fences now, and that he’d be doing that next season.

I agree regarding Take the Breeze. Very interesting if that one stays in. I’d read Sports Line is likely to be Mullins’ main entry.

At the risk of causing great mirth, but out of a genuine desire to try and find a surprise option, what about Ballyfitz?

Where did you hear that? I thought Hobbs was always planning on putting him away over the winter, and predicted it would be a forgotten horse for that very reason.

I hadn’t seen any news of an injury.

Having backed it as high as 200s I’d be quite keen on it running.
