i did however enjoy the terrace style chanting at Tom on the way back to the paddock "are you tizzard in disguise?"

There are still three offences in this country where the death penalty is still the maximum penalty.
Arson in Her Majesty’s dockyard, treason and desertion in the face of the enemy.

Surely Tom Scu should be charged, tried then and hung drawn and quartered on two of the above ??

It was a great race between the "the fly" ad Peddlars Cross, they are both exeptional and the Mullins horse made me eat my words.Ruby rode a brilliant race,as did Maguire. A worthy Champion and well done to all who backed him. What a chaser Peddlars Cross could be though!! the one unlucky horse for me was Dunguib,i’m not saying he would have won but, he was cantering until he found trouble and was boxed in losing any chance he had.

i feel a bit sorry for Donald McCain really as i personally think Peddlars Cross would have won, Binocular or no Binocular.Neptune winners have a fantastic record in the Champion Hurdle as per Hardy Eustace/Istabraq and this year another outstanding horse should follow on from this trend, quite easily i feel, i think Menorah is the only real danger as his course form is exceptional. Can’t touch the "Fly" with a bargepole to be honest, never ran here, only ever beat Solwhit, now Solwhit has been stwepped up in trip. the form is very lacklustre to say the least, i don’t even think he’ll be placed (i’d rather have Dunguib in 3rd) it will be interesting to see Cue Card in the first as all the Menorah form lines have Cue Card as a yardstick. I still can’t figure out why Recession Proof is thrice the price in that race.

i was at Prestbury Park last week, for trials day. me and all my pals, with over 20 years of racegoing and punting were left speechless by Grands Crus performance. We had all backed Restless Harry e/w based on the Big Bucks form, but the Pipe animal ran them all ragged.we all quickly piled in at around 7/2 for the World Hurdle and with all these negative vibes about Big Bucks and he may not even run surely this looks a festival banker now? Even if Big Bucks did go to post and was in the form of his life i doubt he could handle the speed, class and stamina of the Pipe horse. I noticed on Betfair the Layers are now after the Nicholls horse ,so i have joined in the fun aswell.Well done to all the shrewdies who got on Grands Crus at fancy prices, i’m jealous.

    Hi All,

I’m new to the forum, but not new to racing and gambling. I’ll be there on Saturday,it’s a great meeting and with the deals at hotels on offer it seemed rude for our gang to refuse.
Now the race, well i’ve backed time for rupert for the Gold Cup at daft prices, so not worth backing at such short odds, so an E/W for me, at the prices it’s gotta be Little Josh 16.5 is massive on Befair, i think 14/1 most places.
Could see this being the Pricewise horse too?? Cleeve hurdle a similar betting proposition, Grand Crus far too short again it’ll be Restless Harry EW for me. Looking forward to the weekend, heard Rock on Ruby due to run against that Henderson thing that won easy at Ascot (i think) last week. Can anyone confirm that?? I’ll be backing Rock on Ruby anyway, i just think it’s top class..
