The thread hasn’t been removed Gamble. Hence I was able to find it and post a link to it above.
No idea who Turtle was, he pretended to be Mrs. Haigh for a while. A good read
Here you go, S
I have to laugh when people get wound up by Big Mac, he’s just playing the game and making a few quid. Good luck to him on BB

That’s right VTC. The owner was Bob Wheatley. Before going to Pipe (who I think looks a little like the late Alex Higgins in this photo) Baron Blakeney had won a flat race with Lester Piggott in the saddle.
Oh right. Name the horse, owner, trainer and jockey.

I’m sad enough to know that it was Dogface, and Freddie was Halfwit.
This is the video that sums the man up.
Loved the quote by Mac at the end- "The worse thing was that I had to stick up for Luke as a good rider, ridiculous"

Anyrate Mr P, C4 in the end have decided to go with the talent:
That parrot should have its own show, very good.
Why is there no rule in place making all bookmakers offer the same each way terms on all races?
Seems madness to me how Corals, Ladbrokes and William Hill can only offer a 1/5 the odds 1,2,3 in the opener at York.
Surely in anyone’s book races like this should be a 1/4 the odds 1,2,3,4?
How difficult would it be to make rules across the board that all bookmakers had to stick to?
There is a rule for off-course firms, and they do stick to it. 1/4 the odds 1,2,3,4 for handicaps of over 16 runners.
I’m sure that Rory means handicaps of 16 runners and over, and not over 16 runners.
