I hate myself for pointing this out, but I can’t help feeling this thread went AWOL at entry three. The Boney M number was Brown Girl in the Ring, not Rain.

Sorry guys and girls, but you’re just going to have to start all over again…

Oh So Risky did indeed carry "crazy quilt". I believe the colours were so named because they were originally registered to a member of The Crazy Gang, a bunch of comedians so ancient they predate even me. The truly geriatric members of the forum may be able to help out here, so long as its not past time for their medication.

I think they’d been dormant for quite a while before the Oh So Risky syndicate revived them. Not sure if they still have them, though I did catch sight of them on a horse at Plumpton about four years ago.

Started at VC and Ladbrokes and still play there on occasions, but am keen on Pokerroom these day, not least because I have to use a Mac when I’m out and about and it’s just about the only site that supports it.

I also also like the percentages that appear on the download version when there’s an all-in – bit of a gimmick, perhaps, and for all I know, a common feature on loads of sites, but fun all the same.

Since Ian is probably too modest to mention it, I feel I should point out that by going to Betfair, you are actually 400 % worse off…

    From PA:

t was a performance that had British Horseracing Board jumps handicapper Phil Smith raving and he now puts Azertyuiop ahead of triple Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Best Mate as the best chaser in training in Britain.<br>"You can crab as much as you like about how poorly some of the others in the race performed today, but I view Seebald as a very good yardstick to judge Azertyuiop by," he said.<br>"Best Mate is on 175, but after today’s performance Azertyuiop will go higher, to a rating in the high 170s.<br>"After all, if you took him out, Seebald would be getting put up. And to give that horse 18lb was a very special performance."
