Totaly agree, with Donny being one of my local tracks, I used to go regulary before the rebuild. I can understand a certain increase for the feature meetings e.g. Ledger, Racing post trophy, Lincoln, Yorkshire Chase even November H’cap. but the run of the mill midweek and evening meeting have shot up in aswell.
Seems to me they need to get all those millions from somewhere.
Fair play to all you lot getting the bonus of the extra races! But remember extra races mean really DEEP pockets!!!
Was there yesterday, supposed to be there today as well, but was absolutley gutted when I heard the news on C4 this morning, so made the long trip home after Breakfast.
Second year I was there "The Cheltenham Festival" nothing like being there, can’t wait for next year already!!!Thankyou I came across this forum a few weeks a go and its great to read and reply to others views and opinons on the great sport.
