I went on Gold Cup last year and went in the best mate enclosure. 3 winners ( Katchit, Kauto, Wicheta Linesman ) and a great day out. Little busy but the atmosphere is amazing.
Im going Champion Hurdle day this year instead
Made my first trip to the festival last year (Thursday & Friday), this year got tickets for tuesday/wednesday.
It was a awesome experience, and can’t wait to for it to come round again.even got tickets for stratford on the monday as a little appertif!!!

Having had a natter with fellow member Zome on msn recently, we decided that for our crime of considering giving the Festival a miss this year, we should punish ourselves by calling each other ‘******’ a lot and promptly snapped out of our financially-inspired depressive strop by booking tickets for Gold Cup day.
Might also be there Tuesday.
I think part of the reason is that I want to go back to see the chip van vendor who said I was pretty last year to reaffirm my self confidence after feeling like death and looking worse after a bout of flu over Christmas
New to the forum but have been lurking for a while … (my favourite horse the clues in my name) … got my ticket for gold cup day and after last years win on Andreas
my luck will probably take a turn for the worse – really looking forward to it as its getting closer and closer. Interesting to see Kicking King back today (was there to see him when he won on that really warm day) – hope he makes it there fit – or will it be another Nortons Coin year (was there to see that as well )Living in Cheltenham make’s it worse – seems to be getting closer each day – next thing you know it will be the night before and we will all be studing form etc.
