Great to see this horse retired fit and well. May he enjoy his retirement. Just thinking of the races when he looked beat halfway through and then in the last furlong seeing him edging closer and hearing the commentator and the crowd cheering him on still gives me goose pimples.

Hi folks, Recently I graduated from University with a degree in Computer Science and have got a job application form for the position "trainee ICT technician". Now the first question is a section headed with "Trust" and the question is "How, in your career, have you had to inspire trust in others?"

For the last few months I have been working in a nice pub as a barman/waiter. Would it be a good idea to use an example from this job as teamwork is a big factor in providing good customer service and to ensure good teamwork each member of staff must trust each other? Would it be a good idea to expand this as the example?

I know its a rather boring subject but any help would be really appreciated.

I really enjoyed the day as it was my first time in the Premier stand and was very impressed with the facilities.

Another aspect i liked was the access to the parade ring and was suprised that the weigh in room was in between a Champagne and refreshment bar. Also to be standing near the parade ring and to have the jockeys almost "brush shoulders" with you was rather exciting!

Some good opinions there, Binocular was another i could easily have picked.

Any thoughts on Jockeys of the season? Mine would be in no order…

    1. Denis O regan – Had a cracking season with howard johnson.
    2. Sam Thomas – Some great rides this season, especially on Denman
    3. Graham Lee – Was doin really well until injured.
    4. Mick Fitz – Glad he didnt hang up his wip.
    5.Ruby Walsh – Ever consistant.

Franchoek was a tough choice, theres just something about him thats kept me following him. Its interesting to see how most people’s choices are almost the same!

 i think i will avoid all possible conflict with these liverpudlion women, they seem scarier than McCirick!

Also a main complaint from my seasoned race goer uncle was the fact that there seems less and less racing people going to these events and more "larger" louts. Hopefully the overall experience wont be ruined by these people!

hi guys, i ordered my ticket on tuesday for the friday in the best mate enclosure but ive been told there wont be many left by the end of the week. i will be going with my uncle for the 1st time who is a seasoned veteran when it comes to the festival so he should show me how its all done.

I’m really looking foward to the gold cup, Kauto for me! As for the atmosphere, i can’t wait to experience it. When ever i ask people who have been in the past they always say the atmosphere is brilliant.. counting down to the days already!

I must say although u2 aren’t my fave band, they were excellent live.. Bono just stole the show, at times i could feel myself getting goose pimples just watching him.

As for their music i like only a handfull of songs such as "Where the streets have no name", "Still havnt found what im looking for", "sunday bloody sunday".
