Such a brave beautiful boy so glad I got to see him at Haydock park for his last win there. Completely heart broken that he had to end his life with such a horrendous accident. RIP

What a horrible thing to happen, he was travelling so well and looked to be enjoying himself. So sad for his connections. RIP

Another old favourite of mine now gone. He ran his socks off for years and to end like that is not good. I agree the old boy should not have been running hard races without a decent recover time. RIP old boy.

Horrible fall and to see him in such distress with that shattered leg was unbearable. Gone but will not be forgotten.

What a shame, lovely horse; quite obvious not race fit but jockey kept pushing despite the signals, the horses’ tail was up for quite a while, a sign that something was not right.

Too many horses are not pulled up when it is clear that they are struggling? It is not good to watch and horse welfare should be the main consideration.
Pull up and come back to fight another day

What a horrible thing to happen to the poor mare, Sounds almost like a mafia type crime! hope that the people responsible for such cruelty get what they deserve.

Absolutely disgusting that the newspaper published those pictures just a week after the event, with the connections of the horse still reeling from their loss.
The horse suffering from the most traumatic injury on this occasion was put down in the quickest and most humane way. Unfortunately as we know not all injured race horses receive such prompt attention.

    RIP poor lad.
Always consistent and spent his entire racing career in the same yard connections must be gutted.
This fast jumping ground takes no prisoners.
