The trouble here is that if you are a long time member it seems to give you the right to over rule everyboby elses opinion! there is know need to be sarcastic in replying to somebodys post when they are simply stating a fact. this response is to all who use this site! :D

I got a tattersall ticket for christmas for 2007 national. i loved it, the down side was it was rammed! and hot, we got on the aintree mound and watched the runners over the chair, brilliant atmosphere. we are going to get a grand stand view for 2009 but you have to be quick they go on sale in august and we missed out on 2008.

Its easy i know to blame the trainer but do you remember before cheltenham a little cross wired words said about noland and running in the arkle, its not all down to the trainer but when you have a owner who wants other options then it must become a nightmare.

As good as kauto is i think paul and ruby now know were they stand with this horse, i will be surprised if i see kauto at the gold cup next year, seeing ruby after his defeat at aintree was more than just "wrong tactics" he wanted this horse to go out on a winning note, and i dont know who looked more gutted kauto or ruby.i dont think kauto will ever beat denman the way exotic dancer cannot beat kauto, cheltenham proved that, paul nicholls is not an idiot, he knows the best horse won and i think he will be looking for a new route for kauto next year.

:? I agree with doyley all way, although a "media whore" is not really the words i would use so try and put it a more polite way so not to offend. :)

Mine would have to be john spearings Run And Skip a gallant front runner always running his heart out but finding one to good, i remember to my horror seeing him entered for the national one year and i think he fell at the 1st, i did not see him around much after that. i have heard he lived a long and happy retirement though. bless him.
