How do you like this form Cheltenham Specialist:
1111111
???
Whose form is this?
Imperial Commander when fresh.
Best Mate is not in anything like the same class as Imperial Commander
FACT
Imperial Commander Form Lines 1/146173/114/161-P251
Best Mate Form Lines 11221/1112/1221/111/211/12/P/FACT
If 11111111’s get you excited then good for you.
Personally I don’t select/rate horses based on the number of 1’s in their form.
Looking at his form I dont see all the fuss about Pentient.
At the prices I like MoK 10/1, Huzzah 14/1, Smoakey Oakey 25/1
Not sure I’ll bet though
Simple truth is that Best Mate’s form was not in the same league as the form of IC’s win the other day and I don’t think he was all that. I don’t care what his overall profile looks like – IC is a MONSTER.

If they want to completely ruin the SoP’s chance in the National then yes a prep run would be a good idea!
I have SoP @ 25/1 but my main bet is Snowy Morning. Jumping is the problem for him but if he has a good day he is the best handicapped horse in there imo
No.
Everyone would be significantly worse off, so can’t see why it would be a good idea.
Shadow Dancer e/w 14/1
I hope you’re right as my 3 antepost bets are Go Native, Solwhit and Punjabi I agree with your 123 and I think Binocular will be there or there abouts on ground he will like.
I hardly ever lay horse but I will certainly be laying Twist Magic TBP and also in running at hopefully shorter odds too. Some think that his wins this season prove he stays well now but this is not true, he has been winning in slow times. He was knackered over the last two at Ascot last time. He WILL NOT STAY in the CC
They have already said they don’t want to front run too and will ‘ride a normal race’ with him. But imo it doesnt matter how they ride him, I still think it will be too much of a speed test for him on the likely going.
Will be too much of a speed test for Celestial Halo and ground not soft enough for Khyber Kim, plus KK’s hold up tactics may not work so well off a moderate pace

New Alco
e/w @ 33/1 in the Wlliam Hill. I think Gallant Nuit would be better off going to Uttoxeter myself.
Reet, the poor times of the last 2 renewals was because they went too fast. The fast pace helped Celestial to get so close
Quel Esprit to win this easily imo
Fencing Master
for me. Dewhurst run shows that he has plenty of class. He is physically impressive and has loads of scope. Plenty of stamina on the dam side and his sire Oratorio saw out 10f really well and should give a degree of stamina to his progeny.
So all in all we have a classy, scopey, likely stayer trained by AoB @ 25/1+. That’ll do for me.
L’Ami must be just about the most one paced plodder in racing, albeit a relatively classy one. Won’t be winning this.
Sizing Australia is a knocking e/w bet @ 5/1+. I took 6/1 last week. Won’t be out of the first 4 and has a decent win chance being still fairly young and lightly raced off 10-2
