Beaks, the Webber stable has just come right over the last few days, so maybe Uncle Wallace will do better.

DL, this horse caught my eye on its second run when it finished 5th (under a hand ride). Three placed runs since then including today and with a hcap mark of only 59 should have no problems winning soon.
As far as today goes I don’t think the wide draw helped and the lad who rode it is relatively inexperienced.
No doubt the lad rides it at home so probably knows the horse better than anyone else. Difficult to know whether a more experienced jockey will be on board next time.

It definitely makes a change from the normal bog standard races throughout the racing calendar.
I’m sure messers Thornton, Marston and Maguire won’t be too impressed getting ten day bans for not pulling up when going the wrong course. They miss Boxing Day as well as the new year prgramme. A little harsh perhaps.

Yes I see Foxchapel Queen is due to run in the bumper at Exeter on friday. It looks a hot race. Further spice is added to the race though as it may be Maisey Down’s debut race.

I was going to back Noble Cyrano in the last at York yesterday, but decided against it because he had a shocking draw (19).
Ironically the horse got a good early position (usually a hold up horse), went for home two out, but not surprisingly faded close home, partially I would imagine from the extra energy used to get the good early posse.
On Monday the same horse at Ponty, was held up from a mid draw (don’t think the draw is quite as important there), flew home and finished second. I did it each way there.

I’ve got it. Its like a modern day version of the old speccy game Sport of Kings.(Anyone remember The National and First Past the Post )
I also have a game called Daily Racing Form horse racing where you train the horse and can ride them. Potentially a really good game, but a bit limited because there is only about 10 races to ride in.

Will you ever see a better ride than the one MCCoy has given Tiger Grass at Perth today. Absolutely brilliant.
A battle!! of the complete dodgepots (Johnsons Art doesn’t like winning either).
How Pipe has managed to win four in a row with this horse beggars belief. What a combination they are.
