“If it is the tendon then it will be operate”
Not always that simple. There’s hardly any give in a tendon, if that’s the problem it depends what tissue is available to fix
“Nico is gone at the game. WTF was he doing holding up the horse at. pedestrian pace?”
Mindful of the ground , on a fast horse who could probably win a sprint finish, probably wanted to teach him to jump amongst and behind horses, and not wanting a hard race. Not his fault the horse went wrong. Hopefully he can be saved.
Thanks. Wonder how much schooling over fences he has done, he looked shocked when faced with the first. A good ride though he needed the weight advantage. Very gallant effort from l’Homme Presse. Don’t think any of these will be winning the gold cup.
I’ll try Spillane’s Tower, he didn’t really get his ground last year but I liked his last run over hurdles where he finished well. He’s a year younger than Grey Dawning too.
Well done Mike, she finished off really well.
Jetara had a grueller on reappearance in the Lismullen hurdle and might still have been feeling the effects at Christmas. Hopefully she can bounce back to win this again and she’s my selection at 5-2.
Thanks, I liked that form with Skylight Hustle.
I’ll try Thedeviluno
Nicholls ok for jockeys next year

13.30 Jetara
14.38 Newton ToronadoRes
15.13 Milan TinoI know Elliott has graded 3 mile hurdlers coming out of his ears, but I was always surprised Pied Piper went over fences in the first place. I thought he would have been ideal for the Stayers hurdle, or one of the big handicaps.
Well done Wilts and Ken and hard luck those of you on the runner up and Spanish Harlem (and poor Sean C-F) . Hope fallers ok but think maybe just winded? Tough going, the pulled up horses were walking inside about three strides.
EWs on Quai de Bourbon and Harry des Ongrais for me. Both course winners, both have won on heavy.

Barry’s assessment of the Clarence House form. They say pride comes before a fall but I hope that’s Connell tripping over into the muckheap not Marine falling at the DRF, cos as said upthread, the horse can’t help it.
Well done VtC , it was nice to watch.
Old Lifetime Ambition for me
