    Leading Active European Sires

    A prophetic thread fulfilled…

    FRANKEL RULES THE WORLD

Highest Percentage Of Graded Stakes Winners To Runners Of Any Active European Sire (2014-2016 Crops).

Higher than Galileo. Streets higher than anyone else including Dubawi. Three times the percentage of Sea The Stars, a very decent sire himself.

Who all got at least equal quality mates to Frankel in 2014-2016.

And breeders have still not figured out what types of mares Frankel does best with.

(Probably Kingmambo mares with a quick turn of foot – according to Jess Sammy and Jonibake and Tryptich…)

The best is surely yet to come.

“The way he trains, I don’t want to say he’s only restricted to turf racing because he goes over the dirt pretty well, too. We’ll see. He’s very exciting.”

Yes. Have already told the Missus we are on for the Coral Eclipse on July 7. (She has already told me we are on for the Hampton Flower show.)

Hope to see a Frankel in that race. Maybe Eminent?

But would still like to lay my own eyes on the the greatest thoroughbred to ever run on grass.

Unlikely to ever get another chance to behold such a unique genetic marvel in flesh and blood.

Perhaps the closest thing to perfection in any field that that we humans have actually witnessed and not just imagined.

The perfect song? The perfect work of art? The perfect book? The perfect building? The perfect scenery? The perfect athlete? The perfectly beautiful woman?

    None of these exist.

    But the perfect horse?

Yes there he is in living reality.

I hope to be able to say this to myself.

    Thanks Joni. Much appreciated.

Have emailed the Newmarket tour folks and awaiting a reply.

    Tours

Among the impressive things about this thread is the generous minded courtesy.

None of the mean spirited spite so common on internet forums.

Happy holidays to all Frankelites as we await Elarqam, Herculean, Without Parole, Nelson, Contingent, Ejtyah, Veracious et al sweeping the 2018 classics.

    What is life without dreams?:-)

I will be in the UK July 3-7 2018.

I would like to do the Newmarket ‘Frankel’ tour.

To behold the living Pegasus in the flesh.

Any tips here on how to go about this?

How long is it from London to Newmarket?

What is the best way to go?

    Train?
