All the, so called, experts should demonstrate making the tissue on a certain factor. For instance speed figures, then it would be far more easy to establish which is the correct approach. Compiling a tissue, or having a viable selection process. :D

Its a method used and proffered by some to distract from the real objective of punting, SELECTING WINNERS.

All bookmakers should be forced by LAW to state how many winning accounts have been closed since 2000. It should take up a minimum of 15% OF the ADVERTISING space.

You have missed out the third thing that can beat it, The Trainer.

Remember when Denman came on the scene it was surprising how quickly Kauto went off the boil. As soon as Denman was injured, kauto was brought back to the boil and is, as previously, unbeatable again.

Notice the similarity with TM and MM?

Besides the above this is a pocket talking thread. :D

Tatenen- High class french import who started respectably, won the November novices chase at Cheltenham and then I thought here we have one. Alas, he partook of the Irish water and has not been the same since. This despite being favorite for everything.

An interesting race that should prove quite informative. If someone gave me a tenner to put on Take the Breeze I think I would give it them back and tell them to save their money. For some reason I have it my head that this horses only purpose here is to measure the other two runners. :) . I am sure it will run well but it will not cause any great repercussions should it get stuffed.
The other two are an interesting pair with Zaarito given a far more searching searching time as a juvenile than the Mullins horse, who has always known where the future lies with this one. No matter how attractive the form looks for Zaarito I cant get it out of my head that he has his limitations over this trip, and he will eventually be suited by further, Sports Line seems like just the right type to expose them.

Great day at Haydock tomorrow as it always is. Diamond harry is a penalty kick in my view. He got Cornas to the Arkle last year after a very similar cold start to the fences and this is a different animal altogether. Williams seems like a realist to me. Why run a hurdle race you cant win?

What I cannot reconcile is the fact that the prize money is so poor for these extra meetings. Surely the fact that there would otherwise be very little income for the big four during this "white out" should, I would like to hope, have encouraged a little more generosity.

What has prevented decent money reaching the courses and the race prize money? "They" have been taking in millions on the back of a 20K cards.

Poor show if you ask me.

Punters with that knowledge will have reaped the benefits at Southwell today.

    Yeh right,

drift from 20’s to 33’s. Of course loads of knowledgeable punters were on it.

Most knowledgeable punters I know wouldn’t back one of those if Mrs Wadham herself told you that it was going to win.

    and this

One trainer beaten by the elements is Tom Cooper, who has conceded defeat in his efforts to get Forpadydeplasterer ready for Ascot’s Victor Chandler Chase on Saturday week.
