Thanks for that Seagull have a good break, anywhere nice?
Des
Lineform,
Will do – it will give us a chance to get it right ;)
II’ve got Charade in 4.35 at Wolv today, jarvis ma 3 yo and older races, what am I doing wrong??
Des
Back to basics now.
I boycott Walkers crrisps ‘cos they pay Gary Linneker, who already has a few bob and a few well paid jobs, oodles of money in their adverts (and sometimes include the likes of Gascoigne).
Why don’t voice over adverts use cheaper impressionist rather than paying vast loads of money to the likes of Wogan?
Des
Thanks for that, Lineman, we’re all singing from the same songsheet now.
Cheers

Seagull,
Regarding the 2.10 I get Jostle as well (loder d.r 3 yo and older horses only).
Also it’s Best Game, are the cold early mornings affecting you ;)

Going back to jr boyles, lineform, you could be right but Seagull’s criteria for other trainers i.e. muir w, say 4.yo and older horses in handicaps which is self explanatary, I think, whereas 4yo+ handicaps gives the impression of those races only.
Perhaps Seagull can put us out of our confusion with an explanation of what he means.
Cheers

Lineform,
I hope we’re both right, I managed 50.00 on Betdaq for Chilali (also got 12.00 for the place although I know we’re only doing wins) so fingers crossed.
I am not fault finding for the sake of it with Seagull, either, as we all miss things at times when we’re in a hurry etc.
Cheers

Apologies if I’ve missed something but I can’t see why Chimali qualifies as boyle jr is 4 yo + handicaps and this race is 3yo+.
Hope I’ve not intruded but I agree with linform regarding chilali 1:30 ling.
It must be me ‘cos I can’t see you getting 2 wrong ;)
Cheers

Artemis,
I missed replying to your Wednesday matches on which I was going to point out to be wary of betting against Nottingham Forest (not Notts please) at the moment because they are in a must win position and have a new manager (at last) who knows the ropes in the Championship. They have sold on their 2 best players, who to be honest weren’t playing to their potential as they wanted away, and are now getting together a side to get them out of trouble.
It’s these sort of thinks that you can’t add to ratings and whilst you can find the info on the web it takes quite a bit of time.
With regard to your Derby rating and bet consideration I would give the match a big swerve. It is a big local derby (27,000 crowd) and Forest as desperate for points. The match could easily end 3-0 to either side but picking which one is a lottery.
Keep up the good work,
Des
What do you base your own ratings on (basically what info do you use to work them out)? I’m also interested in<br> the European Leagues, because they seem to offer better value, and have all the results but just wonder if the same principals would apply to England and Europe.

Hey guys, I look at the thread and have been playing around with a few theories so don’t leave me out ;)
